My husband and I stayed here for a night. Location was great! Walked to Fork restaurant in downtown Boise. There was fresh brownies waiting when we arrived. Decorations were adorable in the room and the bed was super comfy! I would totally stay here again!

My wife and I stayed during the Fourth of July weekend. Everything about BGH was great, from making reservations, to the location, staff and of course the accommodations. The room was wonderful and cozy. Having a kitchenette and fridge was great. There were several great eateries within walking distance. We will definitely be back!!

I am staying at the Boise Guest House as I write this review (on their free WiFi) and could not be more pleased with every aspect of my stay. I came here solo for 3 days for a little R&R before picking up my kids from a nearby camp. I wanted a nice, quiet place to stay that I would... More

We were travelling through Boise just for one night and really enjoyed this option for our stay. It is on a quiet street, far enough from the downtown to avoid problems, but near enough for a nice walk to any restaurant or event. We did not meet the owner, but had very easy and convenient instructions as to self-check in,... More

If you want something in the heart of the city, yet unique and eclectic, you will LOVE this place. This has all the charm of a B&B, but none of the awkwardness of feeling like you are a guest in a stranger's home. I stayed in the Treetop Suite with my partner and two small dogs. We loved the place... More

I highly recommend staying at the Boise Guest House because it is a memory in itself. I usually view hotels as nothing more than a place to rest my head, but my stay at BGH became part of the reason my trip was outstanding. First, the location is ideal. It's just a few minutes from the downtown core. It's even... More

Hi WriterGrrl! What a wonderful review! You have captured in your writing exactly what I have attempted to do - create spaces that *feel* like home. It is such a sincere compliment to have a guest stay with us that appreciates the details that go into a guest-oriented small business, and then to share it with others. I have posted... More

It is like your Little own house, very quiet, clean and relax, I like to have my own kitchen and eat something in the morning without worrying to get ready and go out only for breakfast. It is very beautiful around the hotel, and very close to Camell park to bike or run. I Love Boise Guest House

This was our second visit to the Boise Guest House. It was once again quite wonderful. We had the opportunity to stay in two different rooms: The Attic Suite and The Story Suite. The Attic Suite had a separate bedroom which gave us plenty of room to spread out. We loved it. The Story Suite was quite small, but we... More

I have stayed at the Boise Guest House several times and really prefer it to traditional hotels. I love having a kitchenette in each room...you can prepare a snack and/or a meal without having to leave the room. I also go grocery shopping when I visit Boise and having a full-sized fridge in the room is great! I love being... More

From the moment I walked into the room, I felt at home. Coming back from the conference each day, it was easy to relax here. Also - so very convenient to hiking in Camelback Park, driving up the mountain about 45 minutes to Bogus Basin, and lots of superb downtown restaurants. There is also a Whole Foods store nearby. GREAT... More
