Everything seeks but it is all authentic original nineteenth century home, beds, the works. A very romantic residence with comfortable beds and an excellent gourmet breakfast. We were informed that the hotel would be closed temporarily for some much needed renovations.

The Heritage Inn was truly a shelter in the storm (of travel woes flying from Hawaii!) I booked this as a place to stay in Boise with my husband while en route to a seminar. What was originally planned as just a one night stop became our refuge on the way out of Boise as well. We were first met... More

The Heritage Inn is a beautiful old home that is now a bed and breakfast. The former home of the prominent Clark and Church families it has several rooms and suites named for the public figures who once lived there. The new proprietors are friendly and eager to please. Their breakfasts are delicious and could last me til dinner. The... More

Our rooms (the "Governor's Suite" had a delightful sun room attached) on the second floor were comfortable and furnished with period pieces (early 20th C). We appreciated the work that went into our breakfasts but we felt over fed since we normally have much lighter morning meals. In spite of this rather insignificant criticism we'll definitely return.

Stayed for 1 night with my wife. It is so much better than staying in a hotel. Nice and cozy. Stayed in the study. Small but nice. I never plan on staying in my room except to sleep. Bed was really firm. Not used to that but made do. Breakfast was great. Easy walking distance to everything we planned to... More

Stayed at the Heritage Inn for 1 night with my husband. We elected to have the small Mayor's study since we were just there for 1 night and it was very reasonably priced at $79. We loved the covered veranda that was attached to the room! We took our complimentary glasses of wine and cookies up there and just relaxed... More

My mom rented this for my wedding night even though I live just a couple of blocks away. It was a terrific idea. The food was impressive. Everything was freshly made and beautifully presented from the better than cinabon cinnamon rolls, fruit compote with yogurt, to the waffle benedict. The hospitality great. The history is fun. This is a lovely... More

Late review from June This is an objective review based on a 5 week touring holiday I stayed one night, in transit, but wished I'd stayed another. Previous reviewers have said it all - this Inn is really brilliant - within walking distance of the riverside, restaurants and downtown, but feels like an oasis. A modern chain hotel it isn't... My husband and I stayed in the Judge"s Chambers. The inn is a short walk from downtown, the university, and the greenbelt. We had a lovely walk to Boise's Co-Op (which is also amazing) and viewed the Capitol, churches, and various other beautiful buildings. Our room had a lovely patio with a small table where we enjoyed our dinner. There... More
