Overall it was a nice stay and great value - fit our needs just fine. Geo-thermal water was fun - did smell of sulfur but most hot springs do. Welcome treats were greatly appreciated, washed away the dust of our travel while we planned our evening out. Pleasant walk to dinner. Breakfast wasn't huge but certainly bigger than I need... More

What a disappointment. The location is good for visiting downtown Boise but the first thing that hits you is a musty smell. The owners apparently live elsewhere, weren't there when we checked in or left but showed up to make breakfast so this is just an investment and they treat it that way. Our room had clean towels for sure... More

This historical property has so much charm! The decor is beautiful. Breakfast was beyond what I have had in B&B's that are twice the cost, The value is awesome. Where else can one find a quiet place to sleep , good food away from home? The property was clean and well kept , my room had a nice size bathroom... More

We stayed at the Heritage Inn one night when visiting family, although it was just over a year ago, and we have since moved to Boise. The owners were hospitable and the Inn is in a great location, however I have to agree with the reviews that the place definitely has a worn and tired feel to it. The bedding... More

Stayed here for two nights in November while visiting son. We had the Carriage House, which consisted of a bedroom/sitting room with a very welcome fireplace, and a kitchenette/dining area. The bathroom was quite large, with a jacuzzi (we didn't take advantage of it, alas). Loved the furnishings and a few big fat candles in jars were a nice romantic... More

Well a little better since I don't have to clean or cook! Bettie and Craig are wonderful hosts. I tuly feel like I am visiting some of my favorite distant family members. the home is airy and clean. The food is well cooked and meets my dietary needs. I met Twig for the first time this trip. All I can... More

My husband and I stayed for five nights at the Idaho Heritage Inn, being the first three nights at the Governor's suite and the remaining two at the Executive Suite. The Governor's has the charming second room, while the Executive has two beds, the skylight and a bigger bathroom. Geothermal water in Governor's is nice for being green, but not... More

My hisband and I stayed at the Idaho Heritage Inn in July of 2012. We were in Boise to see if it would be a nice place to spend our retirement. We have stayed in many B and B's, and would definitely have to say that the Heritage Inn ranked among the best for friendliness, quality of food and companionship,... More

I was very excited to return to Boise as a vacationer and to treat my long-term girlfriend to a special trip to her first B&B. We got there a bit before 3pm check-in, and Craig met us at the door and was very friendly, offering complimentary wine and cookies and saying it was no problem we were a bit early.... More

We are very surprised by this review but in the response to the guest's perceptions we have refunded the entire amount of their stay. We had no inkling that there was a problem but guest satisfaction is our major reason for being innkeepers. Some of their concerns are our attraction for others - cats and geothermal water. I am speechless... More

We stayed here on our drive across America this summer. The bed and breakfast is Craig and Betty's home. They are conveniently located within a short walk of the vibrant Basque District. We stayed in the Judge's Chambers which was large and had a super comfy bed. The neighbourhood itself was quiet and the grounds are beautiful. I took a... More
