We stayed in the Cottage Terrace Suite and enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds. Bark & Brew event was going on and made our stay even more interesting. Our Crème Brûlée French Toast breakfast was delicious!! Mario and Dave are great hosts!!!

Ashford Manor should be on the National Historic Places Register, truly a work of art and love. The food is exquisite and the beds are plush. The grounds are serene and rejuvenating, only exceeded by the good will and warmth of our hosts. Excellent, Carmen and Rob Smith Fort Lauderdale, FL

This place is a great old home that has been changed to a Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are all unique and the value is good. The beds are very comfy and the linens are quality. The breakfast was Creme Brulee French Toast and it was to die for! Mario greeted us at breakfast and seemed interested in us and... More

My partner and I stayed there recently. While picking a place, I was concerned that as a gay couple, we'd find a place in rural GA where we'd feel comfortable, and not have to pretend to be "friends". No issues at all here. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The house is well kept, nice pool, clean,... More

Awesome place for a get-away. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast options made it convenient too. We opted to eat in the room, which made it great (not having to get ready at a certain time). They even have some dog-friendly rooms. It also looks like it would be a... More

My sister and her husband recently got married at Ashford Manor Bed and Breakfast and it was honestly an incredible and magically weekend. They rented out the entire property for the weekend and the owners Dave and Mario did a spectacular job making everyone feel right at home but respected our privacy. Everything from the breathtaking décor of the Bed... More

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Beautiful Victorian house with great character. Stayed in the White Room and highly recommend it. Much bigger than the pictures indicate. Close to UGA if you're visiting their. The owners were great about giving us privacy while knowing we could call them if needed.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by booking the cottage terrace. The attention to detail was what impressed me the most. The breakfast was excellent and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely return.

I took my mother out for a night and was very happy to find Ashford Manor. I have a bed and breakfast myself so I know what it takes to run a smooth ship. From the lavender water spritzer that was there for you to mist your sheets to the inroom coffee set up the management makes you feel right... More

My wife and I booked the White Room for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We called to book the room and told them of our plans to stay and they were so kind and extended their congratulations to me over the phone. Then the day of our stay, I received an email from them confirming our reservation and also had this... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We like to think of ourselves as the best kept secret in Georgia. The five acre Ashford Estate, overlooking Watkinsville's venerable Main Street, had been in the same family for over 100 years. Completely surrounded and secluded by a border of magnolias, red buds and pines, the 1893 Victorian manor house, cottage, gazebo and four acres of landscaped gardens all terrace down to a pool and open woods and creek beyond. We are walking distance to antique shops and art galleries of local fine and folk art talent. Ashford Manor and our new facility Ashford On Main are available for weddings, reunions, business meetings, retreats, bridal showers and more! ... more   less
