This hotel is in a great location but for the price it is very poor quality. Our room had mildew on the art work, stains on the carpet and roaches. At over $200 a night I expect more. The front desk staff was friendly at check in and out.

Not the nicest place on Tybee, but better than Ocean Plaza!!!!!!!!! The people in the office were VERY nice to me. The room was clean except they could get some new bedspreads. One thing that impressed me was a lil fridge and a microwave........Ocean Plaza refused to give me a microwave in 2013 after spending over $1,500.00. They wanted me to... More

I can't find anything nice to day other than walking distance to the beach. The room had an odor. The refrigerator door would not close. I felt totally uncomfortable in the room but had to because we paid $200 and it was late. Never again.

Don't stay here for the rooms. They're old and outdated. Don't stay if you want your car damage and the employees to not say or do anything for you. The girl at the counter could not be more rude. Even called me a b----. And a manager who is not available, does not have set hours of any kind to... More

This hotel is close to the beach. It was reasonable priced compared to other local hotels and it was available at late notice. Other that that, nothing to recommend it. A hole in the shower cubicle wall. Rooms smell of perpetual damp. The refrigerator and micro wave worked and the coffee machine worked - once I fashioned a filter for... More

Sometimes it's best not to look at the reviews. If I had read the other reviews first, we would not have stayed. However, we did stay and it was fine. The room was clean, everything worked, good shower, decent linen, and the location is excellent. (Of course, it's a small island so a really poor location is hard to find.)... More

We went stayed no plans checked in room was fine. Now this in not top line place so if you're a spoiled person don't go here. Not nasty like other reviews no mold, bugs. Little out dated but fine for just the little you are there in the room. The pool was fine kids loved playing in. And didn't meet... More

We stay here every chance we get.Probably over the years,2 to 5 times per year.Nina and Elizabeth are always great. The prices are great. The location can't be beat. The atmosphere right across from Stingrays, walking distance from the beach, right in the middle of everything, wonderful. This is an older motel that is constantly improving. So if you see some work going on,it is a good thing.So... PROS: Rates during the week were reasonable, since most hotels on that island charge a ridiculous $100-$200/night. Rates was a fair 89/night for a king. I was there for business, so I might as well get to see the beach while in town. The room I stayed in (112) wasn't too bad. It had a few minor "upgrades". For example... More
