We contacted Tybee Island Inn to help with our daughter's beach wedding. To our amazement, they were able to help us pull a wedding together in 3 weeks AND they did it with a cheerful and willing attitude. Some of our family stayed at the inn and some stayed in one of the cottages. Our experience was absolutely delightful. The... more
This was our second July 4th at Tybee Island Inn. We stayed in the Savannah Beach Room this time. Very nice and quiet. Chantelle, (the hostess) went out of her way to make us feel at home and comfortable. Mary, (the breakfast cook), was great! We were served an outstanding breakfast every morning. My favorite was the Salmon and Gouda... more
Great stay. Loved the large tub in the captains suite. It was our 20th anniversary. Tybee island is a quiet, calm place, 30 min from savannah. Enjoyed both. Everyone is SO friendly and helpful at Tybee island inn. I loved the breakfasts. Soft, romantic music in the background. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. WOuld stay there again more
After a tumultuous week, my husband booked a spontaneous night away on Tybee Island. After driving the couple hours to get there from Charleston, we arrived just past 6 pm. The Inn's location is great, only a short walk to the beach and the Tybee Island lighthouse as well as a couple of good places to eat. The history behind it's location and previous function at Fort Screven is fascinating. Also, having tour bus shuttle service available for pickup at the Inn was a plus. However, the Inn did not... more
We have been rejuvenated, restored, and revived after our stay on Tybee Island. Lisa and Mary made us feel so relaxed while staying at the Tybee Island Inn. I loved soaking in the huge copper tub in the Captain's Suite. The little kitchen that the inn provided with all the goodies was great! We never saw much of the owners... more
Here's the good stuff: The gardens surrounding the Inn are beautiful and it is a short walk to the beach and other Tybee attractions. Breakfast at the Inn is very good - a spicy kielbasa one morning and to-die-for blueberry, cheese, and egg casserole the other. For the diet-conscious, they also have yogurt and some cereals. There are plenty of... more

We just returned from a stay of several days at the Tybee Island Inn. The property itself is very charming and relaxed. Our room was clean and pretty, with very interesting pictures. Lisa was especially friendly and welcoming. We were not however impressed with the breakfasts served, the website boasts of a "spa" where you can enjoy the surroundings under... more
