We stayed here for one night in January 2012 and were pleased with this inn and its owners. The woodwork inside is extraordinary and the whole house is true to the era. We stayed in the Elizabeth, which is the largest room. It could use some refurbishing, but was clean and very comfortable. It has only one large window, so... More

Many items are original to the house, so if you are looking for nostaligia then you will enjoy! The character of the house is reminiscent of the era. The architect was my great-grandfather, E. Levi Prater, who has several buildings on the National Register for Historic Places. Be sure to notice the 'curved' glass windows while there! I was actually... More

Do you ever think that you were born too late, that you would have liked to live around the turn of the century? You can do that and still have free Wifi. The Simmons Bond Inn is probably one of the finest we have stayed in ( and there have been a few). The entire house is elegant and filled... More

Simmons bond is very historic house and the inn keeper gives a nice talk on the history for the breakfast guest that want to go on a brief house tour. The breakfast was really wonderful! They seem to feature breakfast items that are not found elsewhere and prepared by a gourmet chef. The B & B does have a parlor... More

We stayed for two nights in the Colleen and it was lovely. Breakfasts were tasty and it was good to meet the other guests. The second morning we received a tour of the house and learned a lot about its history in Taccoa. While in the area we visited the falls, Tallulah gorge, and Traveler's rest. More

I drove down to Toccoa in late September to hike up Mt. Currahee and visit the military museum in town (both VERY worthwhile things to do). There are very few options for lodging in Toccoa and Simmons-Bond B&B seems to be the only B&B in the community. The home's interior is beautiful and the common areas and room I stayed... More

My wife and I live in Atlanta and we were celebrating her birthday and so we decided to stay a night in N. GA. We picked this place because we were going to visit Toccoa falls and Blackrock mountain the day after. This house had a great ambiance with a historic feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our TIFFANY room. The best... More

I was visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Toccoa for the first time last week-end (Sept. 11-14, 2011). The Simmons-Bond Inn was welcoming, clean and affordable. I stayed in the 'Tiffany" room which was lovely. Plenty of room, quiet and bright. The breakfasts were delicious, a wonderful way to start the day. Elizabeth, the innkeeper, was very accommodating and my... More

We stayed in the Bethany, which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. I slept well, which is unusual for me to do in a strange bed. The walls are thick enough that I didn't hear any of the other guests the first night, though the second night I could hear the couple next to us briefly using the hair dryer.... More
