We had booked "angels among us" room and it was so lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We were not too keen on the breakfast but that's just probably our English taste and I do prefer to have a more peaceful breakfast. Bob is very nice but I really don't want that much conversation at 8am.... More

We spent two nights here on a recent visit to Thomasville. Great location since you can easily walk to the center of town. The host was more than willing to direct us around town and to recommend place to see, eat and do. Additionally, he provided us glasses for our wine that we had brought along while we were lazing... My husband and I stayed at Freedom Oaks B&B in order to attend a wedding at Pebble Hill Plantation. The inn has been beautifully restored and is warm and comfortable. Our host was extremely gracious, sharing lots of historical information about the inn, the town and Pebble Hill. As others have stated, the inn is situated conveniently close to downtown... More

We spent two nights at this beautiful restored Queen Anne Victorian home. This house is conveniently located one block from the big Oak Tree and four blocks from the #1 restaurant Jonah's Fish and Grits in town. You have to eat there at least once if you ever come to visit Thomasville. The host is very gracious and will tell... More

Spent Friday night at this B&B and really enjoyed it. "Touch of Gold" was a great experience for my wife and I. The breakfast was excellent and so was the hospitality, as they were very accomodating. Highly recommend this B&B.

My husband and I stayed at Freedom Oaks two nights. Bob and Peggy are the perfect hosts - every need was met, recommendations for things to do and restaurants were provided and even phone calls made for us, breakfast was out of this world - yet we had absolute privacy when we wanted it. The Inn is lovely - beautifully... More

My husband is a Florida State grad and huge fan, so we make frequent trips to Tallahassee for football games and have found that Thomasville is the most convenient place to stay. We decided to stay at a B&B instead of a hotel this trip and chose Freedom Oaks because the photos on the website were very appealing, and they... More

We had a lovely stay at Freedom Oaks over our wedding weekend. I stayed in the Angels Among Us room the Friday evening before our wedding and slept like a baby despite bridal jitters. Bob was very gracious in welcoming us and showing us around, and made a special accomodation for me and my bridesmaids to have breakfast together. Breakfast... More

Freedom Oaks is truly remarkable; the rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed the common areas which were spacious and convenient to each of the rooms. Our bath room was modern and very attractive. The bed was very comfortable, but if you are short be prepared to use the provided stool to get into bed. Bob and Peggy... More

Bob and Peggy were very gracious hosts. I had a bout with vertigo while there and they went out of their way to see that my wife's needs were met. The rooms are spotless. The entire B&B is super clean. Comfortable seating areas on first and second floor and a 46 inch TV with surround sound on the third floor.... More
