Villa Boreh is the nicest place I have ever stayed. There are lovely paths surrounded by tropical garden, and all sorts of places to sit and relax around the resort. The pool and beach-chairs look out over the ocean. The rooms are amazing, all wooden and open with white mosquito nets and an outdoor shower. The meals and drinks were... More

It was really an amazing villa... the architecture, the design, the plants was all well planned out by the German Owner, Mr Molte. I had the pleasure to meet such an astounding gentleman with precise keen for details. Even the road to the villa was purposely cut off and he made it so that you had to travel the natural... More

We booked a few nights based on great trip advisor reviews. We arrived and where met by a very friend guy and shown around and then to our villa. The villa was down by the swimming pool but it was completely open and on a path so you couldn't even get changed! I think this was a traditional Balinese villa... More

I have been to Villa Boreh on yoga retreats before and absolutely loved the idyllic setting, the meditation and yoga, the healthy and delicious food, the massages, the genuine friendliness and the exceptional attentiveness of the staff. I wasn’t quite sure if young teens would appreciate these qualities when I brought my three children to the Villa earlier this month.... More

A handful of authentic Bali-style houses in a tropical garden, staff that gives you the feeling of visiting friends, marvelous Balinese food (sometimes topped with European desserts), beautiful spa - this place opens the heart! Although I was there as part of a yoga group, I can recommend Villa Boreh also for travelers that just want to spend a few... More

We stayed for 6 nights in the corner Alang Alang, my kids nick named it the giant tree house. Our days consisted of swimming in the two beautiful pools and eating the delicious meals prepared by the gorgeous staff. Occasionally we dragged ourselves alway from the resort and did the local waterfall trip and the 6am local market visit -... More

Warning: Not for the faint-hearted, and weak-willed lovers of lush greenery and natural by-the-coast resort living! Content ahead might be too tantalising for you to withstand from booking the next flight out to Denpasar and then trying to control your bladder/gag reflex(3hours up and down the meandering roads of North Bali is no easy feat, empty stomach or not) But... Villa Boreh oozes of a positive laid back vibe and is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Excellent service and facilities at its price point. The carefully thought out landscape around the resort takes one away from the concrete jungle we are all used to and provides the perfect setting to relax, unwind and... More
