We stayed for New Years and had fun with snow mountain.. It was also nice in the campground with friends. The campground was full of people and had many things to do, fishing, riding bikes. I only wished we would have brought a golf cart. It was so pretty by the lake.

We were here for New Years Eve week. Great and easy check-in (we did night check-in and then came back to register the following morning), spacious campsites with full hook-ups. Quiet surroundings with beautiful scenery. The staff was very friendly. The general store has the very basics, but there is no restaurant or cafe on site so make sure to... More

Second rainy New Year at Stone Mountain, can't predict the weather. Campground gets messy in some areas with a little rain. Biggest complaint is the unlevel sites. Do not arrive after dark on your first trip. Navigating some of the loops are a challenge in the daylight. Overall the park is great always something to do, beautiful light display. We... More

Spent the Christmas holiday at the campground and spite the rain it was a decent time. I had orginaly booked at site on Trail O but decided it would be nicer to have a sewer hook up and still be on the water. So I changed to Trail M, with a change fee. I knew check in time was at... More

We have been here 4 times since August. This time to spend Christmas in Decatur, GA with family while we camped here. Looked like a full house on Christmas eve and Day... Very convenient to the places we needed to be. Lots of nice Restaurants nearby. Would love to have a paved sight. We have full hook up. TV reception... More

This is a heavily wooded campground on a large lake, very scenic. We were in a 45ft motorcoach, sites were full hookup and pull-in. Our site had a beautiful view and was equipped with a deck and full size gas grill. Location is just minutes from Stone Mountain Park, scenic hiking trails and also grocery stores. We did not use the restroom... More

Unassuming campground with good amenities. The folks working were very nice and the gentleman who filled our propane tank was especially friendly. Place was packed as we were there for a big event, but non one got loud. Pretty lake views. Only reason not a 5 is because the lots are smallish and the amenities are basic.

We visited in the off season – about a week before the Christmas display begins. It was quiet, and most of the summer attractions (rides, shows) were unavailable, but the price is reduced considerably and the park itself is worth the $$. We had a prime site which included a nice deck, picnic table, and natural gas grill. Our site... More

We stayed here with our 3 girls (8 years old & 11 years old). The activities at the park were fun for everyone. The ropes course was challenging for all of us and lots of fun. The campground was fun as it felt like real camping being in the woods. They also had fun Halloween activities for the kids. The... More

As most reviewers state, this is a very nice campground. But, if you plan on tent camping, be aware that these sites vary greatly in size and quality. We were on site 233 on "I" trail. Very large site, two for one actually. Where we set up our tent was very level, no tent pad so got to watch out... More
