I would not recommend. Bed bugs were not found in our room but they were found in 2 others. The inn keeper admitted they had bed bugs & he had treated the room earlier in the week. In my opinion the rooms should not have been rented until the problem was completely resolved. Live bugs were found while we were... More

Please do not stay here. First: There was a bug problem in two of the rooms and the management did not handle it well. Second: Not clean. Very tired looking--old caulking, pet damage, stained carpets. The cottage seemed as though someone lived there before we came. Left the food in fridge, towel on bathroom door, etc.

My husband and I had a wonderful visit at the Statesboro Inn. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We stayed in the cottage and enjoyed the home town feel. The cottage was clean and had a quaint feel to it. Thank you for sharing this historic home with us. We would live to come again.

I have been staying at the Inn yearly now for the last 3 or 4 years. The property is nicely situated and the main house brings you back to a different place in time. Its large! Lots of heart pine, including a massive stair rail to the upper floors. Homes like this need lots of work and the owner has... More

I have had a wonderful experience with each visit to this classic inn. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast wonderful and the owner very accommodating and hands on. I feel like I'm home here! I have and will continue to recommend this fine bed and breakfast to my friends!

We always stay at B&B's when we travel. We stayed at the Statesboro Inn and was very disappointed. The room we reserved wasn't available because they were fumigating it for mice in that room so he (the owner who had the personality of a wet wash rag) put us in an upgraded room. The upgrade was not a cozy room,... More

If you happen to be in Statesboro,GA when it's about time to call it quits for the day, or you happen to have Statesboro as your destination, you could probably do worse than to stay at the "Historic" Statesville Inn, especially if you prefer the personal, if somewhat quixotic, touches of an inn rather than a cookie cutter motel room.... We stayed in the Hattie Hattaway cottage behind the main house. It was perfect for our family of 4 AND my parents! We had 2 bedrooms with a bathroom, kitchen, and living room. It was small, but plenty of too for us. It was very clean and the staff was great! Breakfast was yummy and I loved the teacups and... More

The positives: good location, good breakfast and reasonable price and quiet. The negatives: the place is getting run down. It needs a lot of upkeep and money to update. Despite this the place was full and had a wedding going on this weekend.

Nice homey little bed and breakfast centrally located in statesboro. Like staying in grandma's attic. Needs more modern decor. All rooms done in gawdy wallpaper or weird red paint, casino carpet, wicker furniture. Nice value for the money. I would choose this place over the Ho Jo. Not the Ritz!
