This is a traditional old pub, popular with locals. My husband and I booked a room for 2 nights and were given room 2 which was quite small but clean and warm. Shower good. The evening meal and the breakfast in the restaurant were very good and the beer was good. Unfortunately, our plans for the weekend had to be... More

Stayed one night in room 4 a smallish double ideal for one, would have been cosy for two ! Good bathroom and comfortable bed. All was working, clean and tidy I had no complaints. It was a cold evening but the room was lovely and warm. Could vaguely hear the next rooms telly but not enough to worry about. I... More

I used to live in the area 10 years ago and knew of the Inn, but it wasn't that great then. Having just spent two nights there what a change. If you like a roaring wood fire in a bar when it is very cold outside, local ale that is kept at it's peak, lovely food from a menu giving... More

Went here as a party of 5 for a late Mother's Day meal. Happened to order a Guinness and everybody who ordered two courses without prompting was given a free pint. Great friendly service. Lovely home cooked food and massive portions. A great country put with history, atmosphere and great fayre.

Stayed here for 3 nights, in fairness it was in the middle of winter, the pub was cold but the rooms were very warm. So what did I get for my money? A very comfortable cozy room with a shower ,loo, sink, tv, and hot drink facility, Bed very comfortable, I am a bloke so the decor is unimportant to... More

Very warm and welcoming without being irritating. Delicious food, lovely drinks, a well-dressed and clean room and outstanding customer service - genuinely nothing more we could have asked for. An unreserved recommendation.

Had to be in the area for a night, and having heard Fairport wax lyrically about their village of Croperdy I booked a night at the Brasenose. Good call! Friendly locals bar, food good (fish and chips using sustainable fish ) wine by the bottle great value. Room in converted stable block comfortable, shower room decent size at £50 for... More

We had a great stay at the Brasenose. Comfy room, warm nice service, great little pub. The place is run by a lovely family and the building is beautiful too. I'd definitely recommend the Brasenose to anyone visiting Cropredy or a surrounding village.

My husband and I stayed at the Brasenose for a weekend break. First of all, we were amazed at how quaint and pretty Copredy is and how lovely the traditional old pub is. Since taking over the running of the pub, restaurant and B&B, it's easy to see how hard the new owners, Mike, Jill and family have worked to... More

Myself and my husband had a child free new year, which we haven't had for years, so we decided to jump in the car and find a village pub anywhere for new years eve. We ended up in Cropredy, somewhere we'd never been to, let alone even heard of. We arrived here and took and instant liking to this place... More
