We stayed at Lucille's for 1 night over the weekend after attendening a graduation. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. The place is beautiful and the view from the back porch is amazing. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was great. Breakfast was wonderful and there was always coffee & tea available.Dessert was Key lime pie..very... more

Stayed at the Inn with a team of coworkers and their spouses. Decided to stay at Lucilles instead of a hotel in town. Best decision that we made that weekend. Lucilles is gorgeous. The service was outstanding. We only stayed one evening and did not get to use all the amentities that the Inn has to offer. Only wished we... more

We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The room was cozy and the view was amazing. We had french doors that led to the porch where we were able to admire the scenery. This place was so relaxing. Lucille and George were very hospitable and the food was pretty good. The grounds are beautiful and it was so peaceful.... more

I had the dreamlike pleasure of staying at Lucille's for 7 nights in August while attending the Quit Smoking Retreat at The Mandala Wellness Center next door. The combination of Lucille's and Mandala made for a perfect solo getaway for me. First, Lucille's is a gorgeous, unpretentious Craftsman-style home, with lovely stained glass accents and clever appointments. The grounds are... more

My husband and I had our wedding/honeymoon at Lucille's. It was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The wedding went great. The photos Jack took were beautiful. They handled every detail. Everyone raved over the food. Our room was beautiful. I would not change a thing. We are planning on going back. more

I was there with my stepmom to celebrate my birthday. It was wonderful and relaxing and I have absolutly nothing bad to say. Both Lucille and George were terrific, warm and inviting. After our return from diner, that was recomended from Lucille herself, we sat on back porch and watched the sun set. It was just wonderful. Breakfast was awesome... more

This B&B came recommended by a friend. We were very excited to celebrate our anniversary at a nice location in Helen, GA. We were looking forward to the awesome views and we even booked the best room in the B&B. When we arrived to check in they did not have a room for us. We could see in their reservation... more

We are very sorry this guest was disappointed. We have a 3 point reservation system, which means each and every reservation is recorded in 3 separate ways so that there can be no mistakes and to assure that each guests requests can be accommodated or prepared for. Upon the arrival of this quest, we checked (and double checked afterwards) their...

My husband and I stayed at Lucille’s twice because we had business in Sautee and we detest hotels but next time we will stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The lodge is beautiful. The rooms are lovely. The view is inspiring. The innkeepers are nice. This is not like a typical B&B and there are no grounds to speak of... more

As the writer above stated, this was their second visit. We must be doing something right, or they would not have returned. It may have been that their expectations for the second visit were, unfortunately, set much too high even for us. We are, however, disappointed that they didn't enjoy this stay as they did the other. We must refute...

We planned a birthday get-together for 6 adults in the family, so booked 3 rooms at this B&B. It was in a great area, beautiful back porch, nice, clean rooms and a serene atmosphere. That said, because of all that and the company we had, our trip was ok. Lucille is obviously not a coffee drinker, because she did not... more

The above review really isn't all that bad. It just needs some clarifications. Lucille's Mountain Top Inn is a new luxury bed and breakfast and never intended to be an old ‘comfy Aunt Margarets' type of b & b. There are already plenty of those in the area. Lucille is very particular about fresh coffee. That is why her premium...

My husband and I spent a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing weekend in this beautiful inn. After dinner out, we returned to the inn with a bottle of wine to compliment the delectable evening dessert and watched a movie in our room from the innkeepers' vast collection. We also recommend scheduling a massage at the spa next door. What an indulgence!... more
