A intimate bed and breakfast, about 10 rooms, converted from a German restaurant and soon to have a winery downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and we both tried everything on the menu. Quiet pleasant surroundings. Hosts were friendly and informative. We were impressed with the latest development of the North Georgia wineries. Bernie's restaurant was to die for and we ate... More

Drinks in frig, wonderful king size bed, thoughtful (not chummy) owners, great breakfast prepared by John, excellent suggestions as to dining and shopping (Sautee, not Helen), varied hiking opportunities, obvious attention to detail and desire to provide a top notch experience. Restful.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway, close to home. Sylvan Valley Lodge was perfect! It is conveniently located to many Georgia wineries and to Helen. The owners were pleasant and made recommendations for dining. The room was welcoming, and breakfast was delicious! Try the gluten free pancakes. Yum! We took advantage of the wine tasting on site and... More

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend getaway. We enjoyed the clean accommodations, the beautiful setting, the tasty breakfasts and the friendly owners. The close-by quaint villages, shops, wine tastings and waterfalls made our anniversary celebration one we'll never forget.

We planned this trip to the lodge, our first time there, for the weekend. The room was comfortable with a Jacuzzi tub and king size bed. The owners/ hosts are very friendly and interesting people. John and Joniver host a wine dinner every month catered by Chef Rob Rutunno where wine is paired with a five course meal. Excellent. Joniver... More

Stayed in cabin 22 in mid May. "Rustic" is the appropriate word. The place was roomy & clean, but very dated fixtures, furniture & flooring. The people were friendly & breakfast was very good. Did not take advantage of the wine tasting, but can highly recommend Yonah winery cave tour.

I booked this trip because I discovered their tasting room on the Unicoi Wine Trail. I fell in love with their Frolicking Faerie wines. The weather did not cooperate to let me go enjoy the hiking, but I still had a wonderful time. My room was one of their smaller ones, but still had a very nice king sized bed,... More

We are so excited to be part of the Unicoi WIne Trail, and the debut of our Frolicking Faerie wines last fall. They have been very well received and have found a way to travel home with many of our guests. I'm sorry Frolicking Faerie Isis was unable to join your entourage this time, but I'm sure she will find... More

My fiance and I needed to get away from the city and decided on a weekend getaway to the mountains. The Sautee area is so quaint and relaxing and there is so much to do in the area. We were not wanting for activities to fill our time and we enjoyed the time we spent at the lodge. We chose... More

There seems to be a common theme running through our reviews that often include the words "relaxing" and "so much to do" which to us, are the makings of a great get away. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to address your issue and resolve it to your satisfaction in a timely fashion. We take great pride... More
