Hamptons are very reliable and this location was as well. When traveling with kids, you can't beat the included breakfast! St. Simons is so compact that although not on the beach, it's only a mile away, and yet within walking distance to Starbucks, Redfern Village for good restaurants, antique shops and a quiet walk down Frederica St. It is hard... This was our first visit to St. Simon's Island. We found it to be a beautiful area and we enjoyed it very much. The museums and old churches were wonderful and informative stops. There are many fine restaurants. The staff at the Hampton Inn as usual was very helpful. The hotel was clean and it was conveniently located to downtown and... More

This hotel is at the other end of the Island, but not far from downtown. There are places to eat close. Outback is there. CVS is next store.Winn Dixie is right there too.The hotel was clean. Staff ok. Not overly friendly, but helped out if you asked. The beds were alittle soft for us. But thats just us. Pillows also were to soft.Could deal... More

From check in to check out, the stay was enjoyable. It's a short drive to the pier. The pool had a hot tub but we did not have time to use it. The rooms had good space for my family and was clean. The breakfast was typical for a Hampton. This was not the nicest Hampton I've been in but... More

Our first visit to St Simmons island and hopefully not our last. The staff was very helpful with any and all questions we had. The room was clean and well laid out, especially the 2nd sink. We were only there for an extended weekend so we really couldn't do or see as much as we wanted, but will definitely be... More

The hotel is located only 5-8 minutes away from most of the best tourist spots, dining and shopping. The front desk staff was one of the friendliest and most helpful groups that I have dealt with. They were spot-on with their recommendations plus directions to various places. True and gracious hospitality. One minor caution, however, is that in leaving the... More

Hotel was great, clean and staff was friendly and helpful. They rotated break each morning, so you didn't have to eat the same stuff every morning. The only problems we had entering and exiting the parking lot. Traffic made it a little hard to get in and out because this hotel doesn't a direct access to the main road, have to... More

Great hotel, quiet, great staff, real nice breakfast, room was clean and beautiful, beds were perfect. Couldn't ask for a nicer hotel. Beautiful location, a lot of historic areas. Staff was very helpful with suggestions for dinner.

Great place to stay! Everyone was friendly and the room was clean. I like the location- at first, we had trouble finding an entrance- the hotel doesn't have its own entrance- you either pull into the automotive place next to it or come in from CVS/Outback. The restaurants and shops in Red Fern Village are right down the street and... More

Be aware that smoking is allowed on a portion of the first floor rooms. You also have to walk through the smokey hallway to get to and from the exercise room. We have stayed in many Hampton Inns from coast to coast . This is the first one that allowed smoking. We were shocked and disappointed. The smokey smell even... More
