I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the chain, and this is the worst I think, front desk not friendy, sometimes hard to unlock the room (door handle needs to be replaced), no onsite exercise room, Small older pillows. The best part of the stay was the breakfast.

They tried hard, but this older HI somehow misses the mark. Some features updated (shower rod, towels, tv) yet others not (composite sink, acoustic ceiling in the interior hallways, patched rear door), giving an uneven impression. We stayed for one night in March and the room was clean and it is a great location to great golf courses and the casino boat. The front desk staff was ok, however the housekeepers said hi and we're very friendly in the hallways. Overall a great stay.

I got into town pretty late and Brian and the front desk was awesome! Easy check-in, gave me water and told me about the area and some restaurants to check out. The morning breakfast was great too. The room was clean and quiet! Great Stay!!

I spent one night at the Holiday Inn Express St. Simons Island. The facility was in a nice location and well-maintained. I found the rooms to be very sound-proof and quiet. Although there were guests in rooms all around us, we never heard anyone or anything. The evening desk clerk was very nice and helpful.
