The staff was exceptional but new to the wyndam rewards program but was able to figure it out.the hotel was under renovations but was not a problem except one night it had a distinct burning wire smell which bothered us because we were staying there because of a house fire.

When we stayed here recently (9th November 2014), one of our party's bed was infested with bed bugs and he was bitten quite badly. We caught several of the little critters and took them to a local pest control company who confirmed they were bed bugs. We checked out and had to find another hotel. In fairness, we were refunded... When we arrived, we were told that the king non-smoking room we had called ahead that morning to book and were assured was available, wasn't available but we were being "upgraded" to a double queen. We should have at that time cancelled our reservation and gone elsewhere but we were very tired after a long day of travel. We chose... More

Do not stop at this hotel it has bed bugs! One of our party was covered head to toe in bites! We are all still feeling itchy from the thought. No one on reception to help. Receptionist sat watching tv on arrival. Avoid like the plague.

We were in town for an event and spent 2 nights here. The room was clean and big enough with 2 queen beds in it. We didn't spend much time here, just a place to sleep. Breakfast was kind of meh. Nothing special, typical microwaved items and the obligatory waffles. They did have blueberry waffle batter so that was a... More

The Comfort Inn in Rome was a very good place to spend the night while on a road trip. The check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean. The Comfort Inns are decent and a relaxing place to stay for road weary travelers. The breakfast was just right, not great, but normal for a continental breakfast... More

Any review you see with suites noted is referring to the other comfort inn & suites in town. NOT this one. This location had apparently been under renovation for quite some time, but we didn't see anything new. The hallways & room all had a strong smoke odor even though most rooms were marked non smoking. There is also very... More

When we got here I wasn't impressed by the appearance of the building(looks like something In a scary movie). The rooms are dark and the beds are dirty, thin, and the comforter old & full of holes. The bathroom was by far the nicest part of the room. There were some dirty linens when we got into the room. They... More

I made my reservations online and selected a crib rather than the roll out bed. It was a reservation for 3 adults & 2 children, one being a yr old. When I checked in, I was told no crib, no roll out and NO REFUND. 5 people in 2 Queen beds was unacceptable! The reservationist went and found a crib... More
