I have never done an experience report before but I felt that I had to share my experience about this hotel. I traveled to Rome GA on business. I picked the Hampton because of its proximity to the hospital where I was doing business. I arrived around 11pm and went straight to my room. After doing my usual pre-sleep items... More

After spending a week here each of the past 10+ years while visiting family in the area, we will be looking for an alternate Rome hotel in the future. Though it was the nicest place in town when we first started staying here, the overall condition of the hotel has not been maintained, and the typically contemporary Hampton decor has... More

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, so I stay at a lot of Hamptons, Hilton Garden Inns, Homewoods, etc. I am surprised that Hilton keeps this place under their list of properties. This is my second stay here and it is just as disappointing at the first. The worst part is how uncomfortable and worn out the beds are.... More

Stayed during a drive thru the state and was extremely pleased with the pool and patio surroundings. Neatly kept and most of all the staff was extremely pleasant, especially Wylene at the front desk. Very engaging and friendly making you feel genuinely welcomed. Only suggestion to fellow travelers staying here is if you order a pizza from the local restaurant... More

Great staff and hotel very clean. The pool was great as well. The only concern is the rooms could use some extra cleaning and add some air fresheners in them. My air condition was not working properly so the manager changed my room which was excellent. The bathroom had a big hole in the corner which was scary because I'am... More

1. AC was not functioning at an adequate level - When we arrived, it was 80 deg in the room, after running the AC all night, it finally got to 76. The AC in the hallway was not working at all, it was 85deg out there. 2. When we asked about changing rooms, they said they were sold out. Unless... More

I am sorry to hear that your air conditioning was not working properly during your stay and I am also sorry that our hotel was full during your stay. I assure you that our hotel was not being deceptive. We are lucky enough to have a sold out hotel, at least 4 nights out of every week. We try hard... More

Basic issues were with the facility and the lack of AC in the hallways - resulting in a musty damp smell in the rooms do to the vast temperature difference (Increases moisture in the room and causes mold). I did notice a new Hampton Inn being built in this city and would consider that property, but not this one. Please... More

Absolutely the worst Hilton property ever. The front desk refused to give us a non-smoking room. The hallways were at least 90 degrees. The room smelled horrible, the ceiling tiles were falling down. The wallpaper was old and dirty. The toilet broke and the shower broke in less than 10 hours we were there.

We are sorry we were not able to provide you with a better quality of service. This is not typical of our usual Hamptonality and welcoming staff, and we are always looking for ways to improve our customer experience. We try hard to make sure all of our guests have a great stay as we are all about Satisfaction Guaranteed.... More

Clean rooms. New furniture. Good breakfast. Good price. - I just didn't like the fact that the lighting was pretty bad in the parking lot and the rear access door was not functioning. This can be easily resolved by the hotel. Clean rooms. New furniture. Good breakfast. Good price. - I just didn't like the fact that the lighting was... More

This particular Hampton Inn is very outdated and the rooms are damp and dirty. Fitness room is extremely warm and humid and the offered equipment is not sufficient. Overall this particular hotel is not worth the stay even if the price is a little less than others.
