Amazing gift! We spent the weekend at this historic bed and breakfast and loved every minute of it! Linda and Mike are fantastic, warm hosts. She even let us borrow her car and check out late when our car broke down. Their breakfasts are absolutely delicious and are enjoyed on a porch overlooking the falls. The mill is still in... More

Amazing hospitality from Linda & Mike! Charming B&B full of history and lovely tour of the working grist mill. Could not find a better value for the money in the county. We loved all the personable cats around the property and the breakfast of home made baked goods and crepes was delicious! Highly recommend for those loving nature, history and/or... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very attentive. I would recommend this B&B without hesitation. Thank you Linda and Mike for a very relaxing stay. The resident kitty was a welcome visitor. 🐱

We had no idea what to expect when we pulled up over two state lines and into the driveway but what we experienced over the next two days was just sheer delight! From the ever present sound of the waterfall as we enjoyed coffee on the porch, to the sight of the rushing water as we dined on SCRUMPTIOUS breakfasts... More

By far, a great place to visit and stay. This is a converted, working grist mill. Your host and hostess, Linda and Mike are two of the most charming and interesting people you will ever meet. Her tremendous baking skills make every breakfast a wonderful adventure. They grind their own flours, etc on site and will give you a tour... More

What a beautiful mill and property. Mike and Linda are excellent cooks using their own grains - you will truly enjoy the breakfast! We stayed in the Waterfall Room and thoroughly enjoyed hearing the rushing water. Breakfast was eaten on the patio next to the waterfall. A very nice and gracious couple made our stay very memorable!

My girlfriend and I started our vacation to the Smokey Mountains here. It was a great place to start. First, Linda and Mike were amazing hosts. Super friendly and made you feel like home. We stayed in the Fireplace room. Big room, big bathroom and our own porch. After arriving our first day and doing a walk to Black Rock... More

Such a delightful stay! Visiting family in Rabun County, a perfect home-away-from-home. Linda and Mike are so welcoming and friendly. Stayed in the Waterfall Room and it did not disappoint. Literally the falls were just a few feet from our window.....so peaceful to fall asleep to the sound! They have their own mill, and the delicious morning scones featured their... More

I spent New Year's Eve at The Sylvan Falls Mill B and B. Linda and Mike are wonderful hosts. We felt like we were visiting with friends, not just grabbing a room at an Inn. The four guest rooms are well appointed. The room I stayed in, despite being just off the great room, was quiet and restful. Dining on... More

We stayed one night here in July and wished it could have been longer. This is a unique B&B with terrific owners. Our room was right over the waterfall and was a wonderful sound to fall asleep to. Linda was such a great conversationalist that we didn't even miss having a TV. She gave us really good advice and info... More
