Having been to many B&B's, Sylvan Falls Mill was a not quite what I had expected from the website. The location with grist mill and waterfall was pretty. Linda and Mike were kind hosts who were managing everything without outside help. Breakfast was served on Limoges china. The property/house needed maintenance and serious cleaning. Our waterfall room smelled of mildew... More

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and precise review. Being as our location is on a waterfall in a rain forest we always battle moisture in our rooms. We strive to keep clean and fresh and will work harder to improve our future guest experiences. We did see that you enjoyed the area and other locations in our county... More

We just had a very nice stay at Sylvan Falls Mill. Linda and Mike are wonderful hosts and we had absolutely no complaints. Linda welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and made sure we were settled in nicely. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and a nice size for such an old... Spent this past weekend in the Rabun Gap GA area. Stayed at the Sylvan Falls Mill B&B. This B&B is very unique and is a hidden gem in the GA mountains. The sound of the waterfall is very relaxing. Food was excellent, very friendly atmosphere. Highly Recommend!

My friend and I were looking for a last-minute memorial day weekend place to stay for a hiking trip in the North Georgia mountains near Black Rock Mountain State Park. The number of challenging hikes, rewarding vistas, and stunning waterfalls in this area of Georgia was the primary draw, and is without doubt worth a visit for nature lovers in... More

We had planned on staying just one night but we loved the property and the hospitality of Linda and Mike so much that we canceled our plans and stayed another night. It is a historic property with an old world charm to it and a collection of hard-to-find artifacts. The breakfast was simply amazing especially all the baked goods. They... More

Nestled just a few miles from the city is a romantic valley with a working grist mill. The Waterfall Room sits about 30' from the waterfall. We woke to a wonderful breakfast with choice of coffees, fresh juices, crepes, and fruit. There was a fire in an earthen pot in the breakfast room which provided a beautiful view of the... More

Amazing gift! We spent the weekend at this historic bed and breakfast and loved every minute of it! Linda and Mike are fantastic, warm hosts. She even let us borrow her car and check out late when our car broke down. Their breakfasts are absolutely delicious and are enjoyed on a porch overlooking the falls. The mill is still in... More

Amazing hospitality from Linda & Mike! Charming B&B full of history and lovely tour of the working grist mill. Could not find a better value for the money in the county. We loved all the personable cats around the property and the breakfast of home made baked goods and crepes was delicious! Highly recommend for those loving nature, history and/or... More
