Do not be deceived by the pleasant pictures posted online. What the pictures do not show is the deteriorating town surrounding a desolate highway, or the truck stop across the street, or even the gas station in the parking lot beside the hotel. If one felt safe enough to exit the vehicle, a restful night sleep is sure to be... more

My husband and I were spending several weeks touring the US by train and car. We opted to stay 5 nights at the Inn at Mulberry Grove en route between New York and Texas! We didn't regret it. Although the Inn is a bit out of Savannah, it's easy to get there by car and indeed the Sanannah Trolley Tour... more

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a trip to Savannah. We decided to economize and booked our reservation at this hotel as it sounded adequate for our needs. The room we were given definitely was worn. While the king-size bed was acceptable and the AC worked, the chair's upholstery was ripped and all of furniture was very... more

My boyfriend and I stayed her may 22-24th! We absolutely loved it! It is way to expensive to stay on river street so we stayed here and were very happy about the stay! Easy check in and check out! Buffet breakfast was very good! I will def be back to stay here when we go back to Savannah! more

We didn't really enjoy our stay there. The pictures on the website are really nice, but do not accurately reflect the condition of the rooms there. Rooms there are really small, the vinyl furniture was discolored and damaged (vinyl was ripped and had holes in it) and the walls had a lot of dirt spots and damage. The room maintained... more

Cute, but in need of a facelift.....Vynal chairs were tattered. The room was tiny, so the oversized furniture filled it completely. An overwhelming anticeptic oder kept me wondering what was being covered up! The breakfast eggs and sausage must be something synthetic. Staff was friendly and helpful and there is nothing wrong with the location. We flew in and it... more

There is a reason it is a "great value". It's yuck! The rooms are dark and smell musty. The walls are paper thin. I could hear every word my neighbors said as if they were standing right in front of me. Highway noise is awful. Breakfast was nasty and cold. Square eggs? Ripped chairs and dirty carpet. Pay a little... more

My wife and I stayed overnight on our way to Florida and were very impressed. The room was immaculate. The beds were excellent. The location was an easy off from I95, just a few blocks off. The breakfast was great, including waffles, eggs and sausage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At this price, I was pleasantly surprised at... more

I travel 30 weeks a year for business. The Inn has what I want, quiet clean room, high speed internet, free breakfast , good price and helpful staff. About 8 miles from downtown savannah. Eat at the Island House 1 mile to the west, local bar/fish house. more

We recently returned from from Savanah. We stayed at the Inn at Mulberry Grove, I have to stay we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was more than we expected, very nice. The staff was one of the best, very helpful and courteous, especially Andy, he was very informative and super... more
