While this was not the Ritz (nor did we pay an exhorbitant price!) we were slightly taken aback at some of the cost-cutting measures in place. No napkins for the "free" breakfast; rather paper towels from the bathroom were used! No fruit, just doughy bagels and cream cheese, or dry muffins. Coffee is always an issue at the Microtel, as... more

Great stay here for two nights, super clean room with a very comfortable bed. No loud noises or surprises in the middle of the night either. The management and staff obviously takes pride in this establishment, it certainly shows! I have no problem whatsoever reccomending this motel to my most discerning friends. We will definately return when in this area!... more

We stopped here for an overnight on our way to Key West and to spend a day in Savannah. The hotel is right off I-95 and is convenient to many restaurants and an easy drive into the city. After driving all night, the very nice girl at the front desk, Heather, graciously allowed us to check-in very early to catch... more

We booked this hotel when we cancelled our reservation across the street at the Travelodge. The front desk (run and owned by a family) was helpful and friendly. The rooms and entire building were spotless and smelled clean. There were always people cleaning when we went out into the halls. Our room had a queen bed, a pull out couch... more

This hotel was perfect just to spend the night for some shut eye. The room was clean. The beds were neat, clean & comfortable! Nice bedding too. The shower and bathroom were adequate. A bit outdated. The room had TV, refrig., desk, window seat, dresser, ironing board, heater - everything needed. There was also a small pool which we didn't... more

This Microtel has some serious problems. The front desk clerk made it clear when we checked in that we had disturbed her. She shoved a paper at us to sign, then shoved a room key card at us, without ever looking at us or saying more than a few words. When I asked which way to the room, she acted... more

We stayed for one night in early March and paid $58 plus tax. The room was spacious and clean and the complimentary breakfast was above average. The motel is very close to the airport and near a small shopping area. We would definitely stay here again. more

I just called Microtel in Pooler, Savannah, GA few minutes ago, asking for their rates. I was greeted with a very tired and lazy voice by the receptionist. She answered my questions with plain "yes" and "no", and the worst is put me on hold without respect. They need to put at least an educated person in the front desk. more

Stayed with a large tour group from suburban Chicago (21 rooms total). The smell of the rooms almost made you gag when you first unlocked the door. My room smelled like urine. Several (approx 8) rooms had to be switched because of the smell.(mine included). Filthy carpet, dirty bathrooms, bloody handprint on wall, blood on bedspread. Some mattress's were even... more
