First the positives. Callaway Gardens is an amazing place to visit. It's very beautiful and serene. They have tried hard to incorporate family activities and it shows. I was there for a conference. I decided to stay in one of their cottages. The cottage was in a beautiful setting. It was spacious. I loved the screened in back porch with... More

My wife and I needed to getaway for a few days and relax/recharge. C.G. was just right. We enjoy hiking and there are short/flat trails around the resort (many miles worth). We found the Eisenhower state park near by and really enjoyed hiking on the "mountain "! Dinners were great at the resort with great food and service. Although not... More

I have been to this event for 30+ years. We have stayed in the cottages every year. We are now on our second generation with our married son continuing the tradition... We love it!!! The drive from Atlanta is short, the dining is great, including the city of Pine Mtn. Restaurants. The peace and quiet being outside of Atlanta is... More

Booked a chalet. Got a confirmation email. Then I got an email that I had cancelled the reservation. I had not. I was told they didn't have any more chalets like I had booked. They amazingly had one at TWICE THE PRICE. Since I had people coming from four states, I had to take it. Be aware of their bait... More

We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience booking. Unfortunately, an online travel site that you used booked a reservation when what you booked was actually sold out. There was an issue with two sites. We are glad that we were able to fit accommodate you since we were nearly sold out. You may want to... More

Callaway Gardens is very historical and interesting....a must see! You can drive through and get out and walk to views areas of interest to you. Golf course is amazing; if you love golf, you have to play this course. The hotel, just so-so.

We stayed 2 nights at the Mountain Creek Inn that is part of Callaway Gardens and although it's an older hotel and needs updating, we loved the view from our room to the blooming dogwood trees. There were only 3 small lights in the room which made it difficult to read in the evening since you couldn't visit the gardens... More

We stayed at Calloway Gardens in the Mountain Inn. The Inn is an old motel that has been recently renovated. The rooms are larger than normal and the renovations are great. The bathrooms are small but they are very nice as well. We stayed at for $109/night and that included our passes into the garden the day we checked in... More

There were quite a few cottage options at the calloway garden....we stayed at southern pine 2br cottage. It was quite a surprise, the cottage was clean, updated, spacious and homely. The kitchen was fully equipped and an outdoor grill also available. There was a telephone, WiFi access, television in each room and the living room. There were no visible bugs... More
