Stayed at this hotel for a woman's retreat. The hotel is older (est. 1956), but is clean. The beds were comfortable. Your room includes entrance to Callaway Gardens. However, I do not feel the per night charge is worth it. A Friday night room is approximately $199. Room includes a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, flat screen tv. No microwave... More

We came to Callaway Gardens on a business trip. We were a little disappointed with the distance from where we stayed and where the meetings were. That being said, the facility is beautiful, clean, very well maintained. More of a retirement vacation area.

Dear rglover81 Thank you for your post. I'm sorry that you were disappointed in the distance between your accommodations and the meeting rooming. You are correct some of our accommodations are spread out over the property. Maybe you should have spoken with a manager to see if there were any way that you could have been moved. We hope to... Although the surroundings were beautiful, the Callaway Gardens Lodge and Spa needs to upgrade the rooms. The furniture was showing signs of nicks and wear, there aren't enough outlets for a business traveler, and the air conditioning didn't cool the room enough the first night. It took a full day to reach a comfortable temperature! The hallways were also very... More

Dear carolinagirls3 Thank you for your post. The inn was in fact completely remodeled (taken down to the concrete in 2012-2013 timeframe) and installed with new interiors. The mattresses, chairs and all soft goods were replaced. Maybe you should look into staying at the Villas or the Cottages the next time you are here. We hope to see you back... More

This was my first stay at Callaway Gardens and I wished I could have stayed longer. They had lots of attractions that were free to visit and exciting to be at. 1st day I visited the butterfly sanctuary and discovery center and attended the birds of prey show while waiting for my room to be available. All of those were... More

Check in good. All to Robin Lake and day long fun. Some confusion with housekeeping. Had to order towels. Came back to room late to find room not cleaned. Breakfast buffet great for kids and adults. Full day seeing all sights. Few places in Pine Mountain to eat. This time hotel pool was closed. Back to Robin Lake at 5... More

Our cottage smelled musty, all four queen beds had filthy sheets (clearly not changed from the previous guests), the entire place was dusty and blinds were filled with cobwebs. We stayed at The Lodge last year and it was delight, but the cottages need remodeling and a very deep cleaning. The sheets were finally changed and the "clean" set had... More

Dear Kristi F I am discouraged to read your review regarding the overall experience you had with your Cottage Rental. The Cottages have been a very requested accommodation for our rental pool this year due to the many upgrades that the individual owners have invested in including new bedding, LED TV’s, Fireplaces, Lighting upgrades, and landscaping throughout the community. The... More

We have stayed at Callaway Gardens several times in the past but it has been almost 8 years since our last trip. We always stay at the Mountain Lodge, and like it. The décor is what you would expect at a lodge: not fancy, rather rustic, but well kept. The rooms are average at most, and even though they were... More

The Summer Family Adventure (SFA) is a GREAT way for families to enjoy a week together. We had 3 families this year and enjoyed seeing our grandkids have such a fun summer week. Cabins have 2 bedrooms / 2 baths, living & dining area, and full kitchen. Golf for my husband (3 lessons included), Zumba (yeah - this year water!)... More

We stayed at the Mountain Creek Inn. This is a peaceful location across the street from Callaway Gardens. Traditional motel layout but room amenities are modern and the property is well-kept. For light sleepers, this room has a window air-conditioning unit that is very efficient and has the option for continuous fan to keep out unwanted noise. Bedding was very... More
