This is our second visit to Callaway Gardens. It is a truly beautiful, peaceful place and guaranteed to ensure you relax and chill. Great golf courses too. The lodge and spa is a great hotel and this time we stayed in the Southern Pine cottages, which let us do our own thing. Would recommend a visit if you are near... More

We booked our first getaway without kids in five years using the Callaway website. My sister had heavily recommended Callaway Gardens, and she has rather high-end taste, so was under the assumption that we would be staying somewhere luxurious, so I was quite disappointed to check in at the Mountain Creek Inn. I had assumed that we would be staying... More

When the back of the hotel brochure suggests calling the front desk before doing your trip advisor review if you have an issue that tells you something. I have been here several times and the experience is always spotty in some ways and good in others. On this trip: The food was fair to average never great. The Butterfly exhibit... More

We joined a new family, from Georgia, by marriage and were greatly impressed by our stay at Callaway Gardens Resort in Pine Mountain, GA about a 1.5 hour drive south of the Atlanta airport. This massive resort offers delightful gardens, a large lake well appointed for swimming and other water sports and a variety of outdoor activities in a magnificent... More

This was our first time visiting Callaway Gardens, and after reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant. However, my husband and I were quite happy with our accommodations. Yes, it was expensive, but when you consider entrance to all the gardens, we thought it was worth it. We stayed in one of the cabins, and it had... More

Our extended family has booked a family reunion here for two consecutive seasons. we have stayed in the cottages that are along 354. The road noise isn't terrible, but we are always glad to have the back porch views that also block some of the road noise. The cottages are in decent condition (but kind of dated), have plenty of... Our family has a love/hate relationship with Callaway Gardens. We absolutely love the gardens themselves - the biking trails, butterfly house, Christmas lights, and the sheer beauty. However, the accomodations really need some help, as does the customer service. On this visit, we stayed in a cottage on Holly Lane. It smelled horribly of mold. We were able to change... More

Sometimes people just need an uncomplicated place to go and relax. Callaway Gardens was created for that purpose and it still is the best place I know to unwind, heal, and rejuvenate. No expectations to DO anything, although many opportunities are made available. The Inn is getting old and needs lots of remodeling, but it still provides comfortable accommodations for... More

I enjoyed the peaceful settings and the great and wonderful service from all the staff at the lodge. The rooms were huge - coming recently from a trip from Europe it was a wonderful experience to have all the space. I enjoyed the food at the lodge especially the breakfast. The conference facilities are good but it would be great... More
