I paid $26 dollars for my room from Hotwire and that is what it was worth. No complaints, but no frills. The hotel was clean, there was a teenager working the front desk who appeared to be 13 years old, and obviously had no authority whatsoever. I asked if I could upgrage to a king room (the hotel was empty) and I even offered to pay...I was told that since I booked the hotel online, there was nothing he could do. He said I would have to go back on hotwire and rebook my room if I wanted a king bed. Now I have used hotwire for quite some time and I know that hotels can and do make upgrades and changes when requested especially if they can accomodate. This is really my only complaint. Have someone knowledgeable working the desk, not some kid playing on his laptop. Oh and the last thing...I had to check out the next morning at the days inn next door. Same kid checking me out. Probably will not go back but again....for the money, it was fine. more
