A friend and I stayed in the antebellum inn for one night on our way from montgomery to savannah. It was a lovely house and milledgeville was beautiful - like stepping onto the set of gone with the wind. The inn has a pool (where we met 2 of Jane's neighbours who were real southern ladies) and a small kitchen... more

I really enjoyed my stay here. The B&B is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the college. The rooms are clean and spacious and the owner was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also delicious. I recommend this B&B without hesitation. more

Stayed one night at the end of March during a long road trip from Canada to Florida. The innkeeper was very friendly and welcoming, and the inn was comfortable, quiet and spacious, and located on a pleasant, leafy street. Although the inn is convenient for walking around the historic area of Milledgeville, we ended up having to drive to a... more

This was the best B&B I have ever visited. From the moment I arrived (I'm female and was traveling alone), the innkeeper, Jane, made me feel as though I was a guest in her home. Her attitude and personality added greatly to my enjoyment, eliminating the feeling of isolation and alone-ness that I might otherwise have had. She casually helped... more

My husband and I stayed at this inn on our wedding night. Beautiful inn, excellent food and such a hospitable innkeeper. I highly recommend this inn if you are staying in Milledgeville or surrounding areas. It's also a great weekend getaway and a short walking distance from outstanding restaurants in downtown Milledgeville. Thanks for everything! more

This was the last stop of a 3 week drive around the south and was perfect as it's a really quite picturesque town, it's a university town which worried me a little but we went out in the evening and the students are really nice and friendly. The room was clean and big, worth a visit to Milledgeville, Madison was... more

Our first experience of bed and breakfast in the US - we must have been lucky - I can't believe that they could all be this good! A little off the standard beaten track but well worth the detour. A charming house a short walking distance from downtown. Large, clean, comfortable, well furnished rooms. The down stairs areas (parlours, dining... more

What a great place to stay. We received two nights at a B&B for a wedding gift and saved them for our first anniversary. This charming place was perfect. The hostess was delightful, the food was wonderful and the room was beautiful. If you are planning a visit to Milledgeville you should consider this as your home away from home! more

On our laid back tour of the South we made reservations for the Antebellum Inn simply because it was in Milledgeville, (our last name being Milledge). What a pretty place to stay, what a comfortable place to sleep! The host was as hospitable as a Southern Lady could be, and wow she can cook too! She does have a thing... more

My wife and I stopped in at the visitor center in Milledgeville on a rainy April day. We asked if they could recommend a B&B. They suggested the Antebellum Inn. It proved to be an excellent choice. The innkeeper met us at the door and escorted us up the beautiful parlor stairs to our room. The room was spacious and... more
