conflicting with other reviews i found this hotel perfecly acceptable. it has a pool, now the pool isnt exactly one you would find at a ritz, but hey, your not pay 500 a night. This hotel has a bar and a good fitness center. The rooms do not have a microwave or mini fridge, but they do have a television. more

This was once probably a top-of-the-line hotel. It is still quite nice. The breakfast was outstanding for a freebie. The hilight was homemade waffles for my boys. Great check in, but it stops there. Room stuffy with that "old moldy/mildewy" smell. Sink with slow drain, tub with mold along caulking. Outlets in both bathroom and vanity area not put together very well. My curling irons would not stay in the socket (plugged in). They just kept falling out. At first glance, the Crowne Plaza seems nice, although the neighborhood is a bit dicey. It appears to have a newly remodeled lobby and the staff is friendly. Priced right at $119. Clean but a little worn down, looks like an upgraded old Holiday Inn property. Fitness center had 4 tredmills (mine was worn), a nautilus, eliptical and bike.
