Me, my little boy and a friend had an unexpected stay here. We were warmly welcomed and accommodated by friendly hosts. We stayed in the red room which was spacious and also had a huge bathroom. The dining and sitting area were cosy and breakfast was faultless. Would highly recommend it.

Farrington Gurney is a small settlement on the way from Bath to Wells. The Old Parsonage is a lovingly-renovated house, with a small number of lovely bedrooms. We stayed in the Red Room, simply but classily furnished. Every stick of furniture and the decoration seemed carefully chosen and gage us a wonderful feeling of rest and elegance. Four poster bed,... A truly charming venue without doubt, enhanced by the extraordinary kindness, attention to detail and hospitality of the hosts. The luxury of the beautifully appointed bedroom and bathroom and kitchenette made our necessarily brief stay quite unforgettable, topped by the most delicious breakfasts, including a luscious, home made gluten free loaf! We will have no problem in finding an excuse... More

We had one night here as we were going to a wedding. The owners could not have been more helpful, arranging cabs for us, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was large, beautiful and had all necessary utilities. Four poster bed very comfortable. Full English breakfast with home made breads and jams. I highly recommend... More

We only had one night, would have easily stayed more. Very friendly hosts with an enthusiastic approach to helping travellers on their tours. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with beautiful decor and very comfy beds. Absolutely superb.

Running a B&B is a fine art but when it is done as well as the Old Parsonage it is something to behold. A lovely building, beautifully restored and decorated (thankfully not a hint of tweeness) run people who clearly love the place. We booked two rooms, both of which were thoughtfully appointed and well stocked. Lovely big bathrooms with... More

All the recent 5-star reviews are accurate, no need to repeat. We enjoyed Charlotte and Brian's hospitality for 2 nights having travelled 200 miles for a local Golden Wedding party. Very comfortable, homely, and historic to boot. Thoroughly recommended by us.

Excellent in every way - good food pleasant owners and a good location near to Bath. Not a lot to do in the local area, but for business or touring I can highly recommend it just for the experience of being in this lovely house and the breakfast of course.

We went to a wedding near by and stayed for one night. The building is beautiful and full of character, as was the room we stayed in. The couple who own it are very helpful and friendly and my girlfriend assures me that the breakfast was delicious (I stayed in bed!). All in all a lovely stay and we would... More

A lovely listed building to stay at with historical royal connections to add to its character. A beautiful building with a cosy homely feeling. Felt very welcome & a lovely cuppa on arrival & a chat with Charlotte (the co-owner) . Both Brian & Charlotte are amiable & helpful hosts. The room was large but cosy & we slept very... More
