1st room we had went into. I went to close the curtains and the entire wall to the left of the window and ac was cracked ceiling to floor and there was mold all over the wall. The lady came up with key's for a second room but other guests stopped her from going in because there where 3 people... More

Stayed here during 4th of July weekend, but don't expect much. For the price we paid and what was offered didn't add up. The attitude of the staff was average. Breakfast was basic, coffee and donuts. The room had an odor to it that was unpleasant that I had to go buy some Febreze to sustain it. The bathroom was... More

OK---the worst thing I have to say about this place is how to find it. After that...there are NO BAD THINGS to say about this HIDDEN little gem run by a very nice family!!!!! These owners keep this place impeccably clean!!!! Stayed here before catching the 9AM ferry to Cumberland Island. Ate at a really good seafood restaurant down the... More

We stayed here on our way to Florida. It was ok but would not stay again. The price is decent however staff is not friendly. The water had a bad smell and our door had a broken security lock. The door had a large gap at the bottom so we didn't feel secure. We did not stay for breakfast.

Pre-paid $35 for one night's stay hoping to get a bargain, but we got what we paid for: a tired, worn motel in bad need of a makeover. We slept OK, but were put off by a broken security lock, worn and un-vacuumed carpet, stained and threadbare bath linens, unstable wi-fi and bad TV reception. We chose not to partake... More

We stayed at the Magnolia Inn for one night just a couple of days ago. We were three adults in one room and a dog. If you don't care about holes in your towels, holes in your blankets, mold in your tub and shower curtain, then go ahead and stay there. They only had two towels in the room, had... More

Very nice and clean Motel just off the highway right inside Georgia from Florida. We have stayed here before on our way either from or to Florida and it has always been clean and tidy. Only $39.95 a night and it has free wi-fi, fridge, microwave and breakfast. We recommend this motel.

My husband and I stayed here one night in March before our trip over to Cumberland island the next morning. We had to catch an early ferry over to the island the next morning so Kingsland is close enough for a quick drive to the St. Mary's Visitors Center where you catch the ferry. The hotel was clean, the front... More

For the money, I don't think that you can beat it. No frills, but clean, good location, and the breakfast is not bad. If you are looking for a good clean room at a good price give it a try, I don't think that you will be disapointed!

My family and I love St. Mary's and Kingsland Georgia, particularly in the off-season when there is a glut of hotel rooms. Magnolia Inn, like many of the properties around it, is new-ish (Maybe 7-8 years old?) and well-maintained. While nothing is top-notch about the place, it is certainly adequate, especially for the price. More on that in a minute.... More
