We needed a cheap way for our party of 8 to spend a quick weekend. The Campground certainly afforded that. Hard to beat the setting for the value, as beaches, fishing, and history are all a short jaunt away. With that said, this campground will not be for everyone. The rules are STRICT and many in number, for our party... More

This is the first review I have ever written, all I can say is I hope it helps someone make a decision about camping on Jekyll. I have been to Jekyll many times and always stayed in a hotel or a vacation rental home. It is such a beautiful place that my family decided to try tent camping on this... More

I loved this campground. My tent site was huge - big enough for both my tent and my hammock, picnic table, fire pit and a long parking area (I8). Sweet staff at the registration office and decent facilities (showers/bathroom needed to be cleaned more frequently given how well used they are). The surrounding area is filled with bike trails, beach... More

We have stayed here numerous times and have always had a pleasant stay. Staff is always very helpful and curtious. Jekyll island is truly a Georgia jewell. Very quite and restful. Good fishing as well.

We have camped here two times. Both times we have had very pleasant stays. The campground is clean and well maintained. The bathhouses are nice and clean as well. The laundry facility is nice. There are several washers & dryers that work great. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays here and love Jekyll Island.

My family and I just got back from our first trip in our new camper. Everyone here was so nice! The bath house was very nice and clean. Our teenage boys enjoyed it! The camp host was very helpful for these first time campers! We will be back!

we went to Jekyll Island with our friends and took our camper and motorcycles. the campground is spectacular. it has all the amenities including cable TV and free WiFi. just the lay out of the place is beautiful and you have a canopy of trees over every campsite. This place is close to perfect.the island itself has a old downtown... More

Huge campground. But I must say it appeared there were a lot of "long term campers". They had lots of clutter around their sites. Not beachfront ( It doesn't claim to be ) across from the pier and picnic area.

Lovely campground ...friendly, quiet and so serene. Hot showers too. The horse back riding was fun although kind of short. (Extra expense) The driftwood beach was so beautiful too. Lovely places for pictures. Nice store to visit. The turtle museum is also a nice place to visit.

We love to camp here but as always we are dissapointed with the lack of enforcement of the 5MPH speed limit and the loud disruptive dog barking which has ruined all three stays here. The campground is very out dated in its layout with many sewer connections being located at the adjacent sites picnic table. Not very pleasant.
