This was our 13th year of going camping at the campground and we love it. In the past we have gone in March or April 1st time in June did not care for the heat. Next year it will be March. As for the bathhouse if everyone wounld pick up after themself it wounld stay alot cleaner. And for the... more

The most fun our family has had in a while. I dont know why people had all the bad comments I thought it was a great place to stay. The campground was clean and the bath houses were clean also. They seemed to clean the bath houses often. It was very quiet, Theres a laundry room, a little kitchen area that... more

I was a little afraid after reading the reviews on here. The campground spots are tight and close together - but that is the way it is. We did not feel cramped and we still had plenty of room for our truck, pop-up, and room for the kids to play. They made sure everyone was quiet after 10pm. We had... more

This is one of the most cramped and close quarters campgrounds I have ever been to,and I've been to alot. Also some of the worst bath houses I have ever seen. I have seen better bathroom facilities at cheap hostels in Nicaragua, seriously. There was no toilet paper and there were roaches, dirt, leaves, and cigarette butts in the showers.... more

Beautiful place. A lot of trees. Relaxing. Close to the Pier. Great fishing. But the Bathhouse need to be remodeled. We have a pop-up camper so we had to use the facilities. Nasty/Dirty. We have been in different campground, but this one is the worst bathhouse ever. If you do not need to use the bathhouse, this campground is really... more

Do not be put off by the entrance to the campground. It is old and could use an upgrade, but is very family friendly, and very quiet. A little tricky with a big camper, we actually hit the top of our big fifth wheel on one of the oaks and a stop sign, making too sharp a turn, but if... more

With all its moss-draped oaks, the campground can still accommodate a Class A motorhome with slideouts. Sites are average width and level, but they are mostly sand and pine-needles. It gets a little muddy after thunderstorms but dries out quickly. Be prepared from the onset for mosquitos and biting flies so they aren't a big deal -- this place calls... more

This is a pretty campground with plenty of shade, a camp store, friendly and helpful staff and clean bathrooms. The sites are somewhat close together but it is still pleasant. Just be prepared for bugs and wear bug spray all the time. Bring your citronella candles too. more

I have been camping at Jekyll Island campground for several years now and it is amoung my famorite places to go. Some campsites are small, but if you look around you will find the one that fits your need. I enjoy the fact that the campgrounds are in a remote location. You are not bothered with the crouds that are... more
