This is a delightful spot. It is such a classic hotel. Lovely veranda with rocking chairs was a wonderful spot from which to watch the sunset. The main dining room is beautiful.....good food and excellent service. Other dining options were also good.

This is a hidden treasure. I never knew about Jekyll Island until I saw it on a tour itinerary so when two girlfriends and I decided to visit the Charleston/Savannah area, we included this stop because it looked interesting. We were amazed at this beautiful resort tucked away on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The food is spectacular, particularly the Mother's Day... More

This was our first trip to Jekyll Island & nothing was disappointing about that. Be sure you know what building your staying in. We were put in San Souci and had to walk 4 flights of steps. Paying 250$ a night I don't want to have to climb steps!!!

We were here for my cousin's wedding. We spent two nights in the Cherokee Cottage and the place was amazing! The bed was very comfy and the bathroom in our room was large for a historical building. The stairs in the Cottage would not be good for someone who has trouble navigating stairs. The staff was very welcoming and accomodating.... More

We were here for a friends wedding. We had an amazing four day stay. You literally feel like the rich and famous when you are here. Its like we time traveled to another time. The history is rich (pun intended). The resort is large and has many amenities. The staff is extremely accommodating and treat you like royalty. They have... More

Jekyll Island is great and the Jekyll Island Club Hotel is OK. It is an old property as you may know, so expect to be comfortable but only to the extent the facility can handle it. An old facility, they've done a decent job to make it modern enough for comfort while retaining the charms of yesteryear. You'll find wood... More

This is a stunning hotel with several out-buildings for accommodations - all with marvelous historical significance. The grounds are gorgeous with huge two-hundred year old oaks, lovely flowers and beautiful views of the river. Breakfast buffet and dinner selections are excellent and bountiful and the service is impeccable. Staying there is absolutely worth the price and you'll leave with wonderful... More

I've stayed in this hotel 20 times or so, and it never fails to charm me. It almost seems to be inhabited by happy spirits who once called this breathtaking island their millionaire's playground. It seems like I'm always discovering something new (or old?) here. During my most recent visit, I was lounging on my porch watching the croquet players... More

This hotel is steeped in history and awash with uniqueness. That said, they don't get a few things right, and thus don't get 5 stars. Perhaps the Westin will get them to up their game a bit, and spend more money on improving the place, such as paint and upkeep. We paid $375 a night because it was the only... More

Love this hotel, and visit from time to time. Just back from an especially relaxing 3 days. Weather perfect, which helped, but this hotel, and the whole island, are so pretty. Don't go for the beach, although it is there. Go for the history, the beauty of a barrier island, and the marshes of Glynn. We were in room 3409.... More
