My daughter and I planned a trip to the Georgia mountains for her birthday. We are horse people so we decided to stay a guest ranch. I did my search and found Seventy-four ranch B&B. The ranch was relaxing and peaceful. Highlight of the trip was meeting a strong and handsome cowboy name Christian and foreman Manny. Christian took us... More

My grandfather and I had a surprising and delightful experience when we met Christian Trejo, our cowboy guide for the day. Not only was he a superb horseman/cowboy, he was also a great companion and conversationalist. It's always fun to meet extraordinary characters, and certainly Christian proved to be one. When we go back, our first priority is to ensure... More

I only visited for a couple hours on a Saturday to relax and horseback ride. Christian was really nice and accommodating. I had a fun time! Thanks for the laughs and roping the calf. It made my day :)

The Seventy-four Ranch was the perfect get-a-way spot for my friend and I! It was laid back, rustic, full of history, and a beautiful ranch. Rita was amazing and made sure our stay was perfect in every way! She did everything! Menny took us to see the new baby calf and the other cattle. We fed the horses and sat... More

Stayed in the Saddle House and It certainly was that. It was musty and dusty. Description stated 2 double beds which in reality was 4 bunk beds with upper bunks difficult to access. A shared bathroom! The hostess was pleasant and provided a good breakfast with coffee always available. Beautiful property but choose a different sleeping area

My good friends Larry and Pam Butler own the 74 Ranch outside Jasper, Ga. I really enjoy renting a cabin from time to time there. Recently, I have been trying to make some major life-decisions. I wanted to find a place that was quiet, without the daily distractions, and was friendly. Being from the mountains of North Georgia, I was... More

We were looking for a quick get away and found this place on Expedia. It was only 30 minutes from our home so we decided to book it. The advertising for our room on Expedia was very misleading-it said our room sleeps 8 people. From the pictures we could see 2 sets of bunk beds and the description said they... More

Although we visiting during and before another storm, and we arrived extremely late. The staff and owners were very accommodating to our group. Manny braved the cold and wet weather to give us an excellent 2 hr trail ride into the Georgia countryside. The house was clean, staff was super friendly, our accommodations were awesome. I would love to visit... More

My husband and I just stayed here this last week while visiting family in North Georgia. This property is gorgeous and the owners are very nice- the breakfasts were delightful and we were happy to sit and drink coffee and chat with Pam and Larry in the mornings. The setting is amazing and the owners have clearly lovingly preserved the... More

We're glad that you appreciate the beauty and spirit of the Ranch as much as we do. The Butlers had to move back into the main house temporarily because of work being finalized at their new cabin home and Larry's recent surgery, but the Butler-Cape House will shortly be turned back to guests only.
