The lodges queen bed had broken springs WORST sleep I've ever had. The pool has no shade and the cafe is ridiculously OVER PRICED. The only good thing about this caravan park is the creek and if you go anywhere alongside port Stephens you can find a "free" entrance. There's also signs all around the cabin saying " $20 if... We have camped at this park every christmas for 16 years. We have never had a problem with anything previously until the current management took over. They are unprofessional and down right rude. Their service left us feeling humiliated and not wanted. The amenities were disguisting with faeces and human waste spread accross the toilet walls and shower areas. This... More

We just stayed here for the long weekend. Very busy as you would expect being school holidays and Australia Day long weekend. A good park . Pool needed some love. Water was very murky. Putt putt also needs an update .could really benefit with another amenities block. One just is not enough. But we still had a good time

Disgusting park, rats in pool area, bathrooms filthy, the owners are nothing but rude cowards. Very unsafe park, with electrical cords running through walkways etc. Never again will I take my family there. Waste of time and money. Owners done nothing but humiliate us while there for no reason. Very money hungry people and not people orientated at all!

We decided to stay at this park on our way home from Queensland before heading on the final leg of our trip to Dubbo. The park is large and located right on the water with facilities for both couples and families. Staff are both friendly and helpful. We had a most enjoyable stay and plan to return when time permits.... More

We camped here for 8 nights from Boxing Day. As it’s a Big 4 camp site I expected good facilities and I was a little disappointed. The camp site we had (G16) was great. It was a big site (8m x 8m) and we had a lovely view down to the jetty. We were really close to the swimming pool... More

We just stayed at BIG4 Koala Shores, we had a blast the staff are super friendly and always had time to say hi and point us in the right direction. We stayed in a waterview lodge, sure it is an older style cabin and probably time for a referb but the location was awesome over looking the campers. There is... More

I have to say we were very disappointed with our stay at Koala Shores and won't be going back. Not a lot of activities organised for the kids given its school holiday time. The ONLY shower facility was filthy and on numerous occasions I had to advise reception that the soap dispenser was empty and had been for quite some... More

This park is located in a wonderful spot right on the water with the option to Canoe, Jetski etc. I found the pool to be too small for the amount of people that use it. There is only one toilet block for the whole caravan park which I thought was under what they need. There are three washing machines but... More
