We stayed at the Hampton Inn for our anniversary, The hotel was very clean, the room was nice and big. We got a balcony room, that overlooked the creek, it was so romantic. We didn't want to leave the room the bed was so comfortable. The hotel was in walking distance to all the sights and sounds, restaurants nearby. Will... more

Just stayed a weekend at the Hampton Inn in Helen, GA for Oktoberfest. Got a King Room facing river, they even let us check in early. Overall, I really CANNOT complain at all about this hotel. The continental breakfast was great, rooms were clean, service was good. Noise level was good. Bed had a duvet comforter which was WONDERFUL due... more

We did a weekend trip to Helen to celebrate the end of summer and stayed at the Hampton Inn. I had no complaints about the hotel at all. Check in was quick, my room was clean, newly decorated, and smelled nice. It was exactly what I would expect from any Hampton Inn. Not luxurious, but completely fine all the same.... more

Spontaneous trip to Helen, and the Country Inn and Suites was booked for the weekend. I have heard great things about the Hampton Inns so I booked a room there. Check-in was easy, very friendly desk clerk, I think her name was Melissa. Room was very nice except the carpet needs replacing both in the room and in the hallways.... more

We travel extensively and frequently stay in Hampton Inns throughout the nation. We have found them to be a good chain with which to do business. However, this is the worst location at which we have stayed. This appears to be an older property in need of renovation. The smell that permeates the entire property is overwhelming, similar to that... more

We probably spent about 60 minutes to go 5 miles to get to our hotel. Helen is a very busy area, with two lanes going thru the town. Process is impeded by frequent crosswalks and by large buses transporting people to/from river access for tubing. The earlier in the day you can arrive, would be better. If you are coming... more

I cannot say enough good about the Hampton Inn Helen. My wife and I have stayed there twice and it is a sure bet that we will go back again and again. The people are extremely friendly and helpful, the service was great, and the location cannot be beat. The rooms are clean and fresh, and the building itself quite... more

This is a really nice hotel and all, downside being the price. However there were a couple of annoying incidents. The door to the balcony had to be slammed shut but we did not know this so we shut the door and left for the evening. When we came back that night and got ready for bed, I realized there... more

We stayed with a group of 30 or so. Did not have a river view, but didn't really care. Loved the covered parking area. The beds were comfortable with several types of pillows so you can choose your firmness. The front desk man was a real delight! Friendly and helpful. A real joy. SO MANY hotels' front desk staff seem... more

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Our room was a lovely suite that included a fire place. We were suppose to have a river view but could not see the river. There is an area in the back of the property that has benches and tables for you to sit at. It's not worth the river... more
