I do want to thank Brenda for getting us a good price on the room but the hotel was horrible.There was blood on the frame of the bathroom door .The dresser had 2x4 holding it up because the legs were broken off of it.The shower was spraying the wall and not us.Toliet stopped up and my husband had to fix... more
This place should get in trouble for false advertising. Wont go back. Believe me, spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. I will. more
...and we received a great bargain with exceptionally clean room, sufficient amenities and a restful night. The place appeared to be recently renovated and was the cleanest facility we stayed at on this weekend trip. We only needed a place for the night because ALL of our activities were in town. We stayed the weekend of July 26th 2008. It was not very restful for us, but not because of the surroundings. Lots of teenagers up all night, not partying...I don't think? We have stayed at Rodeway Inn many times....before it became Rodeway it was EconoLodge. Granted, it's not a "5 Star" motel, but we didn't expect that, considering the very reasonable rates. Stayed at the this hotel on June 6th and 7th 2008. I have never seen a more dirty place. In our room the wallpaper was coming off the walls, the paint was peeling off of the ceiling. Do not stay here! The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but this seems to be a recent change (i.e. after carpeting and drapes were installed) because the room smelled really bad. We had a great trip.We stayed at Rodeway Inn.It was VERY NICE.We like going to Helen,it is a fun trip and is not so far fron our house.You can have fun and not go broke doing it.GREAT TRIP!!! more
