My two business associates and I managed to get tickets at the last moment for the Masters tournament in Augusta GA. We had an extremely difficult time finding hotel accomodations, but finally found rooms at the Higdon House Inn in Greensboro, an hour away from Augusta. I can only say how thankful we all were that we had the good fortune to stay at the Higdon House! The house and grounds are incredibly beautiful and so peaceful. The atmosphere is so relaxing and friendly that you never want to leave. The owner is quite charming and a delighful host -- he had stories about the house, the town, and the local townspeople and had interesting opinions on just about everything we could think of to talk about. His housekeeper was quite friendly and efficient and went out of her way to prepare breakfast for us at an extremely early hour so that we could get to Augusta each day.
