We are frequent visitors to this hotel. It is quiet and centrally located in Gainesville. Nice Chinese restaurant, and new Mcdonald's within walking distance. The hotel staff was very personable from the managers to the housekeeping staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back soon!! more

The staff was very nice, but the room was horrible. There was mold around the edge of the tub and room smelled very musky. The musky smell was overpowering. Room was clean and neat. A few problems though, make sure you have a battery in your smoke alarm, as ours did not. The breakfast was just okay, I have stayed at days inn hotels with better. My husband and I were in Gainesville for the Petit LeMans. Although this place was packed with the race enthusaists, the attitude of the staff was incredible. We were a part of a large group approximately 30 rooms, the hotel rooms could get some work to come into the 21st century but these rooms were very clean. Clean rooms and good breakfast are a dream of any budget traveller. We were in Gainesville for Rowing practice, we will be back next year! more
