My title basically says it all. We came here for a relaxing fun time before a big family get-together for the holidays. This place was awesome. They were OK with our late arrival, the big room was very comfortable for the 4 of us and the breakfast was a perfect start to a busy day. I loved hearing the description... More

This homey inn makes a very comfortable jumping off point for a visit to the Okefenokee Swamp. The inn is casual and comfortable, with modern updated bathrooms and showers and comfortable beds. It feels more like a home than an inn. The innkeepers, Ted and Alease Kelly, were flexible and accommodating, allowing us to change our reservation date when we... More

We came here last summer, to visit nearby Okefenokee swamps. Folkston is a fairly low-key place (but interesting for us Brits to sample small town America!) It's also a railway hub so it was interesting seeing all the huge cargo trains pass through, even though we're not trainspotters. The Inn was charming. We loved the huge porch and the warm... More

Spending two nights at this Inn around our visit to the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge was an absolute delight. Our "Garden Room" was so comfortable and the hosts did everything to make our visit perfect. They are knowledgeable about the area and very connected to everyone in town. Much of the breakfast food is locally sourced and Ted is a good... More

One of the reasons we like to stay in B & b 's is that you get to meet fellow travelers and the owner can personally make your trip better. Ted the owner was very friendly and accommodating, this is a great place if you are going on a swamp tour or want to watch the trains go by.

The Inn was very cozy and comfortable. I slept like a baby on the very comfortable bed in the Funnel room? (train themed room) This is the best place to stay when traveling through Folkston. Ted and his wife Alease were very accommodating and kind hosts without being intrusive. I felt very comfortable here and enjoyed my breakfast in the... More

This past weekend was my second time to stay at the Inn at Folkston and I was not disappointed. Ted and his whole family are wonderful gracious people who make you feel like you are a part of their family while you are there. During this stay I slept in the Folkston Funnel room which was beyond sufficient and very... More

When I told my wife, we were booked into a b&b in Folkston, GA for three nights, she questioned my sanity. She now shares my enthusiasm. Many come to Folkston to see the trains go by. We were there for Okefenokee. But the highlight of our visit was the experience at the Inn. From the moment we arrived, we felt... More

I gave them 5 stars because they made me feel so at home. Ted told me all about the local train activities and history. I walked over two the high school and watched a football and then a softball game. It was great. Ted and Alease greeted me in the morning and sent me away on my bicycle with a... More

Ted, his wife and daughter were very nice, professional, and welcoming. Ted upgraded our choice of room before we got there. Once we got checked in he was able to quickly get us booked on a sunset tour on the swamp that night with a great guide. We spent two hours on the water. Our bed was very comfortable; the... More
