Stopped by during the long Thanksgiving weekend and sipped hot chocolate by the big stone fireplace in the lodge. We weren't staying, but were treated very cordially by the staff. We decided to rent a golf cart and explore the whole resort. Such fun! The area is lovely. Our party decided that we will definitely stay here on our next... More

We stayed as part of a larger wedding group. The lakehouse we stayed in was quite basic but still nice. The setting, in a wooded area, with a view to the water, was nice - although the water slides was a but of a let down! The unit has self catering facilities, but they are a bit basic, for extensive... More

A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet beautiful private setting in one of America's most visited lakes. The room was very clean, well appointed, with a great view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. My wife and I were spending the weekend with my classmates from college watching the football... The quiet elegance of this huge facility is wonderful...... Sooo much to do or just sit with a glass of wine on one of the zillion verandas and enjoy life. The rooms are rather small and plain. The front desk not too friendly and the bell boys a We're in extreme demand. Count on handling your own luggage. Now, let... More

I stayed here'd during a race at Road Atlanta. The setting ids beautiful. These seems like a lot to do on a very large lake setting. The hotel itself was fine, not great. The rooms were average, the restaurant was average, and the bar/pub was average. I visited in October which doesn't seem to be their prime season.

If your planning your wedding, this is the best place in Georgia to do it. The wedding planners at Something Blue (Celita Fritch and Maggie Norton) are beyond amazing. They made our dream wedding come to life. Everyone loved the food and the location for our ceremony was just beautiful. My family and I are already planning our next big... More

We live in Atlanta and were looking for a close get away for a couple of days and decided to go to Lake Lanier. We arrived late in the day so we didn't have time to enjoy the Water World tickets that were part of our package and they graciously took those off for us. Our room was clean and... More

We were here for a business meeting and stayed two nights in the lodge. My room was on the ground floor and had a nice view of the water. The furnishings are rustic but the room was immaculate. It would have been helpful to have had more accessible outlets for recharging phone and laptops, but this was probably not the... More

We just loved this place. It's awesome Nice forrest feeling and close to the waterfront. All amenities are just great. We have rented a pontoon boat for a day and we loved to be surrounded by water. With small kids it's a lovely place but honestly saying, Lake Lanier Resort is for all ages.

We just drove up to Lake Lanier for 1 night, it was approximately 350 dollars, but included breakfast, passes to waterpark, and usage of Beach access. Also we could of use the Golf cart which would of been fun, but for just one day its alot to do. Checkin is at 4 pm, but they did allow us to check... More
