Rooms were clean, and the bed, on the hard side, suited me perfectly. However, there was a distinct lack of storage. What looked like 4 large cupboards turned out to be 2 blank fronts, a fridge behind one other and 1 cupboard. No drawer space at all. The safe was screwed to the bottom of the wardrobe, and hard to... More

Forced to leave the booked b&b, we found this saving place. Big and beautiful apartment, beatiful chianti hills around, at 10 minutes from Siena center. Swimming pull is a must, bar and powerfull breakfast. Non expensive at all. Very kind recepsionists.

Our stay at the Montaperti Hotel was fine. The rooms were clean and modern (though part of the bathroom around the sink could have used a facelift). Breakfast was okay. Location was a bit out of the way but if you're using this hotel as a homebase for roadtrips -- which we were -- or are here on business, then... More

Spent two nights here. Room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Location great for visiting Southern Tuscany. Downside: immeadiate village had nothing to offer, the bar area was connected to the reception and had no atmosphere whatsoever. The breakfast was served in the basement and was extremley average. The swimming pool was only available after 7 pm. It was a hotel... More

We stayed with our 4 years old daughter in this hotel for one night. Hotel is situated around 15 min from Siena, in very quiet area. Apartment was very spacious, with little kitchen. Bed was fine /I will prefer double bed instead twin/ which was little bit incovenient for us. Swimming area was very nice, with warm water, we went... More

This hotel has an overpriced restaurant and the food was bad, breakfast on weekdays is limited yet when Saturday gets here all of a sudden there is more variety more flavours of yoghurts and fruit plus you can get cappuccino coffee, we was knocked up and told our room needed cleaning, no English tv and slippery floors, location ok, staff... We picked the Montaperti as a base for six nights, somewhere close to Siena to spend some time there, but also to allow us to see some of the surrounding countryside. This was ideal We had a car, and one of the main reasons we didn’t choose a hotel in Siena itself was to avoid the hassle of trying to... More

After havind a problem with our hotel, we decided to sleep here for one night at the last minute. We paid 70 euros and it was a nice hotel. Nothing special, but the room (studio) was big, clean, the bed was comfortable and it had all the facilities. The receptionist was gentle and the breakfast was nice. Nothing to complain... More
