On arrival - after a 6 hour drive - check in staff were disinterested and unhelpful. We were given a key and a map and no further information. Unfortunately, our 'villa' adjoined another that was occupied by the noisiest family we have ever encountered on holiday. Be warned - walls in the villas are paper thin. The staff in the... More

I loved Cuscowilla! It is peaceful and beautiful. Our room was perfect. Pretty large studio. Everything we needed. The food was very good and not overpriced. Views from each restaurant were beautiful. Now for the problems...They started when I called for reservations. Poor service and very slow booking process. When we arrived, we were given our room key and no... More

We were in the area for one night, so we booked a Lodge Villa Studio. Our room was right on the lake and an end unit; 2 queen beds, small frig, and very small TV(!). The mattresses on the bed were soft, even for us. Furnishings dated but all appeared clean -- except we did wonder if the comforter covers... More

Took 10 couples here during Master's golf week, housing the group in 4 golf cottages right along the course. The grounds were perfect, the cottages stunning and well stocked, views fantastic....it was a dream. We ate several times at the on site restaurant, and the food was very good. An angel named Jamee Mickler welcomed us, and greeted us like... More

We stayed in a three bedroom golf cottage which had a full kitchen, washer dryer, TVs, fireplaces, patios. The "cabin" was fully stocked with dishes, bedding, towels ...just like an upscale hotel. It was a short 3min walk to the Pro Shop. We arrived on a stay & golf package that was reasonably priced (breakfast was included) Very few dining... More

Went here on a company meeting. Upscale kitchen, gas fireplace, big screen TV, coffee maker and more. Very quiet after meetings and group meals. We ate at golf center. Fine bar and the meals were outstanding.

PROS: Quiet, not crowded, beautiful lake, good location - close to lots of restaurants, stores and the Ritz, golf, good restaurants on site, less $ than the Ritz CONS: Not luxurious, no spa or fitness center, grounds not as manicured, staff not as sophisticated, no room service. We stayed here recently, looking for a place for a quiet weekend on... More

The room was very roomy and well furnished. The deck in the back with a great view was very nice, particularly since the weather was perfect for sitting outside. My only complaint is there was not enough light in the room. A light in the hallway would have been great, as the room was too big for the two lone... More

This review is for restaurant and golf not lodging The course is worth playing. Coore and Crenshaw got it right again. The service was simply poor. Slow and uninspired service in the restaurant before the round. The course mandates caddies. We were riding and had 4 groups. The first three had a forecaddie. The fourth had to ask where their... Arrived late afternoon without booking and got one of the last rooms in the apartment units--wish there had been no availability! Housekeeping very negligent: filmy, dirty bath mirror & counter, dirty tile floor, shower mold, cheap, mismatched towels. Dirty, stained carpet with the extra pillows left on the room's closet floor. Few dishes in the small kitchenette which would have... More
