My college friends were planning a ten year reunion, no small task as there were eleven of us originally and the number has grown over the years with spouses and children et al. It's never easy to find a place for 20+ people to stay comfortably and not be on top of each other--doubly difficult if you're trying to make... more

Last year my husband and I stayed at the Dillard House for our anniversary. One of the lights on our section of the porch did not work, and although I called to have someone put a new bulb in I was told it would be tomorrow before they could do that. I had to use an indoor light, open the... more

My husband chose a trip to the Dillard House for Father's Day. We stayed in the Meadow's room. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. After many hours on the road, the first thing I did was take a nap. It is so relaxing to lay o the bed and look out across the great view... more

We stayed 1 week at the Dillard house Chalet Village in number 12. We were secluded way up in an adorable chalet which seemed like we were up in a tree house. We had a cute fireplace, kitchen, and all the amenties of home! The beauty itself made up for some other things lacking. That is why I rated it... more

Our first time at the Dillard House was a stay of 2 nights, early June 2009, to attend a wedding on the premises. We were in room 165 in the Valley View unit. I won't repeat the comments already made, but these are very spacious recently renovated rooms. The bathroom was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the rocking chair... more

We stayed in the Valley View rooms. These rooms are huge. Each of the Valley View rooms come with a kitchenette comprised of a small counter and sink, microwave, coffee maker and mini refrigerator. Spend some time wading through their confusing plethora of lodging choices when booking your room so you get what you want. They have several different buildings:... more

I came to town on Business and was scheduled to stay somewhere else but when I saw the cottages at the Dillard House I knew I was going to change my reservation. We stayed at the Eddie cottage which was 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a nice size Kitchen and a HOT TUB. It was so nice ot be travelling for... more

We stayed March 21 and were very disappointed in the room and breakfast. When making the reservation, I was looking online at the pictures and requested a full bathroom, and was told that was what we were getting, so I assumed it was the one pictured. Our room was located behind the lodge in the roadside-motel-like structures and wasn't the bathroom... more

If you're at all familiar with the gear required for triathlons then you understand how much space it requires. For those who aren't each athlete has at least three bags, plus a bike. Our room at Dillard house had more than enough space for the gear of three triathletes plus five day's food (the spacious fridge and microwave accommodated this).... more
