It probably was great in the old days, but in 2015 it falls a bit short. When you arrive the signs sort of confused you as where you're supposed to check in. The check in counter is old and unprofessional. The pool was not open which was a great disappointment to the kids. The tennis court was old and needed... More

If you stop at the Dillard House to eat Breakfast(or any meal for that matter) you better come HUNGARY!! They bring the food to you country style in bowls and on platters and leave it on the table. My wife and I had breakfast there May 8 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was tasty and the Country Ham they... More

For TWENTY DOLLARS, I had a fried chicken back, fatty Salisbury steak, chicken pot pie with so much onion POWDER in it we couldn't eat it, green beans with no flavor unless you salt them, mac n cheese, squash, tomato n cucumber salade, cabbage, corn on the cob and Cole slaw. Just so tasteless it wasn't worth the drive or... More

We have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and this was the worst stay ever. We stayed in one of the meadow rooms which are original rooms and we have stayed in them many times the shower spout was hanging off the water control was so loose you could not regulate the temp and then we made the... We've been coming here for 15yrs. And now it's going down hill fast! They are getting rid of they chalets. The pool there looks to have been closed for years. Eating there use to be a big deal now it is small amounts w/even smaller selections. Every light on the property had bulbs out. If they even work at all.... More

Very nice Inn. Lots of units, in a upgraded room and very spacious, bedding wonderful, luxurious with comforter, multiple pillows and really comfortable. View out on shared porch quite tranquil. Amenities are top notch, Would stay hear again. Ginger and Sarah were very helpful

We planned a last minute weekend getaway and were looking forward to visiting the Dillard House for the first time. My husband enjoyed going there with his family as a kid and was excited for us to enjoy what he recalled as the "best food ever". My bad experience started from the first phone call to make reservations. I spoke... More

We stayed for one night and found dirty tissues in our sheets. Either the bed wasn't cleaned or someone didn't check at all. Complained and even have called many times. Still haven't spoken to anyone. Won't stay here again

We love the Dillard House, most of the time, having stayed there on many occasions as our first and last stop to and from the Smoky Mountains from Florida. However, it just seems that maybe there has been a change in ownership as things seem to be slipping. We stayed on a packed Friday night, getting one of the last... More
