I read reviews religiously before I book a room in any city. The reviews for this hotel were overall good, and most importantly, didn't involve bed bugs (which seems to be a rarity in the Atlanta area). So, to reflect on some reviews I've read: Yes, there is some damage to the elevators. It looks like perhaps they were struck... more

The best thing I can say about this hotel is its location. You can walk to anything in downtown Decatur, or walk to Marta and let it whisk you away to other parts of Atlanta. Our room was dark - one of the light bulbs went out during our stay (which was 6 days) and was never replaced but even... more

Greetings from Decatur! We appreciate feedback in regard to our rooms overlooking the atrium lobby. They tend to seem dark (nothing can replace natural sunlight) but it was already in our plans to add additional lighting. This will happen over the next few weeks. We are starting renovations in two days. The renovation process will continue over the next year....

I visited this facility in February and my stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very attentive to all of my needs. I called the front desk because I was out of regular coffee and the gentleman at the desk informed me that he would have some more brought up to me as soon as possible. Within five minutes... more

This was the ideal locations for my family. The area has lots of shopping and resturant and it was walking distance to the public transit system. The indoor pool kept the children entertained and the front desk staff was very pleasant and accommadating to my husband whom was very needed doing our stay. more

Generally, I had a pleasant stay, though there were some annoying facts. Stayed there for a month, things were OK. Location: Situated in Decatur which was very cute and had restaurants ($10-15), cafes, coffee shops, boutique shops, telecommunication shops, and bars in a walking distance (1-3 blocks). Though it was in the heart of everything, the hotel itself was not... more

Thank you for your feedback! Due to your comments, we have made a few changes. We are adding about 20 new cable channels that will be "live" in the next two months. This will offer our guests a more extensive channel line-up. We have increased the water temperature in our in-door heated pool to 86 degrees. This will be more...

We stayed here the weekend after Christmas and paid $50 a night via Priceline Negotiator. There were not many guests in the hotel. The location is awesome because there are wonderful bars and restaurants in walking distance. I'm a picky person and I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room and very pleased with the staff. One night we... more

Thank you for staying with us in Decemeber. I am happy to announce that construction next to the hotel is complete. The hotel does not actually own the parking garage next to the hotel so there will continue to be a charge. For this, I am sorry. You are always welcome to utilize "street parking" especially on the weekends.

This was a great location. We went to the SEC Football Tournament and were able to take MARTA right to the game. We were able to walk to dozens of restaurants. The staff was very friendly. more

Decatur is a quaint city with a lovely town square adjacent to the chaos of Atlanta. The square has one business hotel--this one. In its headay it was great. Now it needs a face lift and modernization. The rooms are large but decaying. TV remote was boken, wall paper pealing, sheets were stained and actually were too small for the... more

horrble staf at the restaurant. We had to wait for 20 min. to get our drinks. He just throw them on the table, not saying a world. Food was cold and not complete. hotel is old and old fashion, not a 3 star hotel. Curtains were coming down from the windows. neighbourhood was okay more

Holiday Inn Decatur Conference Center it's a nice hotel with a nice and dilligent staff. We booked thru a Hotwire deal, stayed for five nights and do not have a complaint. It's centrally located, at short distance of Atlanta's well known attractions if you're planning to use the Atlanta City Pass booklet as we did. Neighborhood is clean and friendly.... more
