Out of the ordinary with a 5 mile hike in and out to a natural setting with a staff that leaves a small impact on nature by recycling nearly everything. It is such a unique experience. If you love nature and the outdoors this is the best of the best. Tent views without the tent and great home cooking! More

From the hike in to the hike out Len foote is a different experience for most. The place cooks really good meals and a gameroom with a wood stove awaits with guitars, boardgames and plenty of books to read. I really like the fact that cell phones are discouraged here as well. Give it try! More

My wife and I had heard of the "Hike Inn" and when we saw a local group getting together for the hike we signed up. The hike felt good, although my wife who does not walk as much as I do was happy when I tole her it was around the next bend. We shared a room which worked out... More

My husband and I have been to the Hike Inn numerous times. We go every time we get a chance! The staff is so friendly and accomadating!! They make you feel like famiy! The hike up is a moderate hike with Pink Ladyslippers and many other beautiful flowers blooming along the way and beautiful sights of the north Georgia mountains. Then... More

Just finished my 5th stay at Len Foote. I've done this with solo, as a couple, & with a group. The place is always very clean, and everyone is always very friendly. And the dinners are always great. I love the fact that they encourage conservation there. A little sign asking that you not continuously run the water when brushing... More

I just returned from my 5th visit to the Hike Inn, so this review is not based on a one-time trip! The Hike Inn is truly one of those best kept secrets in Georgia! No where else will you find such a well-run “all-inclusive resort” that offers the unique experience of hiking in and out. The entire staff is always... More

We arrived around 4pm Saturday, March 17th, and were shocked at all the children running around *screaming*. So much for a "restful" environment. I seriously do not understand why they ban phones and liquor when they do nothing to provide an actual peaceful, calm getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sadly, this place has ended up like... More

My wife and I have stayed at he Hike Inn once before and enjoyed our stay greatly. This trip was no different, everything was great. The staff even recognized us from from our last trip a year ago. They are very considerate and constantly checking to see that everything is satisfactory. The food is something we always look forward to,... More

The scenery and hike are nice, and accomidations are rustic but adequate. The staff will corner guests and begin rambling away even when nobody is interested and bored to tears. We didn't like being lectured at, and scolded for our lifestyle choices. We were also FORCED to overeat even when we were full. More

We took our family of five (kids ages 11, 8 and 5) on the hike to the inn. The hike was a little tough for our youngest. We carried him on the uphills but it was all worn it when we arrived. Beware the first mile and a half was the hardest for our kids but after that they were... More
