We were here for 3 nights, that was not long enough. The Inn is better than we imagined. Our room (Tara) looked as if we were the first to occupy it, spotless. JoAnn made sure our needs were met, had a wonderful breakfast for us each morning and told us about the things to do here in Darien. A wonderful... More

We loved staying here. The one thing we didn't like was it was only for 2 nights. This year we are going to stay longer. We met the owner and her whole family. Hung out on the porch that overlooks the water with them both nights. Can't wait to get back there in June. Mark and Carol Strait Worcester Ma.

Friendly owner, JoAnn, greeted us and made us feel at home. The view of the waterfront was beautiful. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated and the back veranda overlooking the river was so comfortable and relaxing. Home cooked breakfast was delicious and we felt like we were at home. Darien is one of the prettiest towns ever!

This was our second visit to the inn. The first visit was so good and we felt so welcomed we just had to come back. JoAnn and Kelly are great hosts. JoAnne usually bakes something special to enjoy for breakfast and relaxing over coffee with her was most enjoyable. The inn is set up so that you have your own... More

We enjoyed a few nights at the Waterfront Inn where JoAnn was most helpful in suggesting outings of interest, and especially arranging to have a rocking chair available (as my husband is addicted to rockers) on the porch. It's great to come back in the evening and walk to a restaurant nearby - one of which is just a few... More

Darien is a lovely area to explore. We had a delightful visit. The Waterfront Inn is "walking friendly" to all of the historical sites of the city and several good restaurants. We also took the ferry over to Sapelo Island for a tour...fun. Joanne served us tasty breakfasts and good coffee and pleasant conversation. Our room was very clean and... More

I was in Darien to visit family, so I can't claim credit for my discovery of the Darien Waterfront Inn; someone else booked my room, and what a stroke of luck that was for me! JoAnn and Kelly were the ideal B&B hosts for my trip - friendly, helpful, and personable, but not intrusive. I'm not a morning person but... More

At the outset let me say many of the positive comments made by others are accurate although our breakfast was not hot. The Inn has many nice features. Unfortunately it also has a problem, at least with unit #5. This unit is long with two double beds. It seems to be on the other side of two separate smaller rooms.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our Inn. I'm very sorry to hear that you did not have a restful night with us. Within the past few months we made many improvements with sound-proofing our goal. We eliminated doors between the rooms and insulated the walls. We have a unique space here and have worked very hard to... More

We loved the Waterfront Inn. Darien was a new destination for us. We planned to do some kayaking and Joanne graciously allowed us to use hers so we didn't have to transport ours all the way from home in North Georgia. She also was helpful with finding a guide for us for some of the lesser known waterways. Joanne suggested... More

We made a return visit to The Watherfront Inn and it was as enjoyable as before. Joanne and Kelly make you feel so at home in their B&B. She has done a lot to improve the inn in the last year and we had a great return visit. We loved the king size bed with the classic linens and the... More
