I had booked a room here for a weekend getaway with my wife; I called ahead and asked for the early check-in option even though it was $50 more. The grounds are not in good shape with grass growing in the pool area (which is an 80 yard walk downhill on an unpaved path) ; the hot-tub was not in... More

Thanks for calling my attention to the grass which had grow up around the perimeter of the pool at the tree line. We had been so busy at the Lodge painting all our guestrooms and installing beautiful new Berber carpet throughout during the three weeks prior your visit on Labor Day weekend that it had not come to my attention.... We stayed in the Antarctic Room which had a very comfy bed. Wi-Fi was iffy, but available most of the time. The gourmet breakfasts were very good and the presentation was quite gracious. The pool is beautiful, but the water is quite cold!! If you want a quiet, peaceful, spot in the woods, you will not be disappointed.

I am so glad you enjoyed yourself here. We just painted all the 12 guestrooms and put in new, soft Berber carpet. I hope you'll visit again and let me know how you like it. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a long, slow Fall. We've got baby deer living in the back pine stand and our turtle family... More

We stayed at this B&B in late July just for the weekend. We had an upstairs room. Pros: Quiet, clean, good breakfast, pleasant employees, pretty forest setting. Cons: Room needed paint and new carpet, bathroom super small, toilet seat loose and Wifi poor, needs a ceiling fan. All of the cons were minimally annoying and the pros outweigh the cons.... More

We took a last minute road trip and needed a place to stay. After looking up hotels to stay last minute we found nothing. I was nervous about staying at a B&B with our girls who are 8 & 5. She assured us it would be no problem and because we were arriving late she already had the girls beds... More

We were greeted by the housekeeper who took us to our room, Tango the highest priced room at $200 a night. She unlocked the door and turn on the window unit a/c. The a/c cycled on and off about every 30 seconds. I check the small frig and it had food left over from the previous folks. I checked the... More

Hi. We here at Lily Creek Lodge are always very concerned that our guests get exceptional service and enjoy their stay. I can't apologize enough about the freezer being un-defrosted when you checked in. I believe you arrived early and our housekeeper let you have access to your room before 3 pm and the final inspection had not been done.... More

We stayed one night at this B&B while visiting friends. We found the location to be convenient to both the lake and to Dahlonega. The hostess was very nice, greeted us upon our arrival and offered a good cookie and a glass of wine. We stayed in the Tango Suite, which had a very comfortable bed. The rest of the... More

I reserved here not quite sure what to expect based on the reviews. We like adventure and not run-of-the-mill places. Comparing Lily Creek to a motel/hotel is like apples and oranges. This is a B&B. And just like most B&B's a little inconvenience is expected. My A#1 priority is cleanliness and the rooms are spot-on. While some may consider the... More

We had a nice weekend at Lily Creek lodge. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very nice each morning. We booked three rooms. The beds were comfortable. Our room was very tired and needs renovated. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy the grounds.

I am very sorry the Lodge did not meet your expectations. I don't know what you envisioned. We have guest comment cards in each of the rooms. It is very much appreciated if a guest takes a moment to fill those out so we know specifically what was undesirable. We did not get any. When there is a problem we... More

A B&B is not a motel. The owners have personalized their place and invited you into their home. My room had a large bed, a functioning bathroom and in my room, a kitchen, which was very nice. But the most important thing to me was Sharon, the owner and hostess. I learned how and why she and her late husband... More

If your looking for a cozy atmosphere with true Southern hospitality, then this is the place to stay. We stayed for four nights and each morning we were treated to a fabulous gourmet breakfast. When we return to Dahlonega in May, Lily Creek Lodge will be our first choice for overnight accomodations.
