We spent a weekend at Long Mountain Lodge during the North Georgia Wine weekend. Dianne was the hostess/owner and she was wonderful. We only ate one meal while we were there, but it was fabulous. We wanted to stay in one of the rooms at the inn, but there was "no room at the inn", so westayed in the one... more

The innkeeper and her husband were extremely accommodating and the BB was very nice. From furnishings to appliances to fixtures they were all very well kept and new. The satellite flat screen TV was a big hit with our teenage daughter and the outstanding vistas and quiet, homey atmosphere were a big hit with my wife and I. I highly... more

This was a birthday surprise from my best friend to me.........a bed and breakfast and a weekend of wine tastings. It was a success all the way around. Long Mountain Lodge B&B is conveniently located to several winerys and this makes it easy to explore as many in a day as you care to visit. LMLB&B is also convenient to... more

This is an upscale but casual B&B located on an attractive country road 15 minutes from the Dahlonega town square. This makes it a perfect location for hiking and seeing the many waterfalls and mountain scenes of Northwest Georgia. The lodge itself is a very large modern house with three levels located on an extensive property. There is also another... more

It was a great overnight get-away for our 16th anniversary. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. View from our patio serene. Nice extras like cheese, crackers, homemade cookies and wine. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. Candles in the fireplace made up for the fact that it was too warm for a real fire. more

This lodge just proves that you don't have to travel far from home to enjoy the GA mountains. Dianne has a history in the hospitality business and it shows. The wine & cheese every afternoon and water and soft drinks are a nice convenience. The very clean bedrooms , and baths are some of the largest and most comfortable we... more

This is one of the nicest, if not the best B&B's to stay while in the Dahlonega area. If you want a nice comfortable room with a view and a fireplace with great company and food to boot, then don't look any farther. Dianne, Colleen, and Carol are some of the nicest people you'll meet, and they welcome you not... more

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our stay at Long Mountain Lodge. The lodge and the surroundings are beautiful - the rooms large and comfortable. We were greeted warmly by the owner with a personal tour of the lodge and an offer of refreshments. After a few minutes we felt like long-time friends. The hospitality and amenities offered... more

My friends and I were looking to stay somewhere away from the city for a weekend and we stumbled upon Long Mountain Lodge in Dahlonega. We saw that they were having a Murder Mystery Weekend and we couldn't pass it up. We love the mountains and we also love theater, so it seemed like a good mix for a fun... more

What a fantastic time I had at Long Mountain Lodge! The location of the Lodge is perfect--close enough to town to offer great amenities, but far enough out to feel secluded and private. The innkeepers are beyond hospitable...really lovely people with a true desire for their guests to enjoy their stay. The rooms are large and comfortable...beautifully decorated with spacious... more
