Such a pleasure to be guests at Cedar House Inn. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The smell of fresh baked cookies and hot tea was refreshing after a drive of many hours. The cookies were just a tease. The blueberry/cream cheese French toast was out of this world delicious for our breakfast. Plus excellent coffee and fresh... More

My boyfriend and I took a trip up to Dahlonega, GA for our anniversary. I had never stayed in a B&B before, but I had always wanted to do so. Cedar House Inn was EXACTLY what I hoped a B&B would be. The hosts--Mary Beth and Fred--were the friendliest people in the world, and they were so helpful. As soon... More

Incredibly good time at this B&B. Made some good friends and went to dinner and listened to some good music. The owners are great. They have a covered and screened porch which is an awesome place to relax, have breakfast or just chill for an afternoon. Thank you Cedar House for another great stay. We have never been disappointed.

My husband took me to the Cedar House Inn for a quick overnight birthday trip sans kiddos. Fred and Mary Beth were delightful. They had warm cranberry tea waiting for us when we arrived and made great recommendations for dinner. The room was cozy and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We've already recommended the inn to others and plan to... More

We absolutely loved staying at the Cedar House Inn. Fred and Mary Beth are awesome innkeepers and simply a wonderful couple. They excel at first rate service! Fred met us at the car and took our luggage to the room for us - wow! They recommended wonderful places for us to eat. Our room was comfy and spotless. The breakfast... More

My wife and I needed a little break from our life in ATL and this was just the right spot! Enjoyed lovely conversations with Fred and Mary, a comfortable clean room, a great dinner downtown, a little morning meditation, and a delicious breakfast before a mid morning hike. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

Fred and Mary Beth are great hosts. The breakfasts are absolutely wonderful. We have stayed in the main house (and it was equally wonderful) but, this time we stayed in the yurt. It was in the mid 30’s and we were very warm and cozy. Going back soon.

We were first attracted to the Dahlonega area through a search that led us to Cedar House. We love to find eco-friendly inns and this one, complete with yurts, seemed ideal. The area also looked intriguing, so we committed the 8-hour drive down from Indianapolis. It was one of the wisest gambles we have taken. Everything about our few short... More
