We celebrated my up coming birthday at this lovely property on the outskirts of Dahlonega. Our room, the Cardinal Suite, was quiet and comfortable. The grounds offer many spots to sit and enjoy the gardens that surround the house. In the morning, Mary Beth provided one of the best B and B breakfasts ever!

We absolutely loved our stay with Mary Beth & Fred! We especially enjoyed walking around the yard and seeing everything they've done to make their home as green as possible. It inspired us to plant several edible plants in our own yard. We will be back!

We have been staying here for years and it's like our home away from home when we visit Dahlonega. Fred and Mary Beth are superb hosts and they really make a point of getting to know their guests. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The breakfasts are out of this world. And each visit is a mini education in sustainable... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Mountain Bluebird room in the Cedar House Inn for my birthday weekend and it was fantastic! Fred and Mary Beth are the best host and such friendly people. You can't go wrong staying in the Inn or in one of their yurts. We will definitely be back to experience "glamping" in a yurt.

My husband booked two nights for our first anniversary here. He did a lot of research and was sure this was the place for us. He was correct! We were immediately greeted upon parking by Fred who helped us carry our bags in, and Mary Beth's fresh and delicious cookies were waiting for us just inside. We already felt at... More

Fred and Mary Beth were fantastic hosts during our stay at Cedar House. It was a pleasure to meet them on our travels. For a last minute stop off en-route back to Atlanta, the yurt provided perfect mountain accommodation. We were comfortable and well looked after, given great advice on places to visit locally and even abroad for future adventures!... More

We were so fortunate to find Cedar House for a last minute rescue of a vacation interrupted by illness. Mary Beth and Fred were very engaging and excellent hosts. Breakfast was yummy, the Inn and grounds are beautiful, the Cardinal Room was comfortable and cozy. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We were able to unwind and escape the stress of... More

My husband and I have visited Cedar House many times over the years and find it to be wonderful every time. Fred and Mary Beth are very welcoming. They make their guests feel like family. The breakfast alone is worth the trip!

Stayed here with my wife our 1st Anniversary and it was an amazing experience! Only wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was delicious, the house was inviting and the keepers very warm and friendly!
