We stayed in a Yurt for our first weekend getaway since having our daughter. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back! Fred and Mary Beth are such friendly people, the Yurt was a welcomed change a scenery for us, very cozy and comfortable! We found exactly what we were looking for: a relaxing experience topped with a... More

My husband booked two nights for our first anniversary here. He did a lot of research and was sure this was the place for us. He was correct! We were immediately greeted upon parking by Fred who helped us carry our bags in, and Mary Beth's fresh and delicious cookies were waiting for us just inside. We already felt at... More

Fred and Mary Beth were fantastic hosts during our stay at Cedar House. It was a pleasure to meet them on our travels. For a last minute stop off en-route back to Atlanta, the yurt provided perfect mountain accommodation. We were comfortable and well looked after, given great advice on places to visit locally and even abroad for future adventures!... More

We were so fortunate to find Cedar House for a last minute rescue of a vacation interrupted by illness. Mary Beth and Fred were very engaging and excellent hosts. Breakfast was yummy, the Inn and grounds are beautiful, the Cardinal Room was comfortable and cozy. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We were able to unwind and escape the stress of... More

My husband and I have visited Cedar House many times over the years and find it to be wonderful every time. Fred and Mary Beth are very welcoming. They make their guests feel like family. The breakfast alone is worth the trip!

For two "road warriors" that needed a night to decompress and relax, staying in the yurt was the best decision. Upon arrival, we were instantly greeted by Fred and Mary Beth. They're so warm and friendly you'd think you have known them for years. Soon after the introductions and check-in we made our way down to the yurt, unpacked, and... More

My husband and I really lucked out Saturday when we were able to get a one night stay at one of the yurts at the Cedar House Inn. The yurt provided the benefits of camping (fresh air, privacy, hot breakfast); with the benefits of a hotel (no setting up camp, private bath, good mattress and someone else cooking !) Mary... More

My husband I had such a great time staying in a Yurt!!! It was so comfy and warm and such a woodsy experience without camping in a tent! In the morning we were treated to great conversation, hot coffee, and an A++++ breakfast at the Inn. It is so much fun to tell everyone in Iowa that we stayed in... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cedar House Inn on our way back home to Maryland after a trip to Atlanta. This place is fantastic! Mary Beth and Fred are so kind and nice to talk to. We were only staying for one night and it happened to be St. Patrick's Day, so they suggested we go to Shenanigans... More
