We stayed in one of the Yurts recently and had a great time. It was close to hiking, wineries and downtown Dahlonega. The breakfasts were great and we couldn't have had a better time. more

Wendy and I had such a wonderful time, both enjoying the yurt experience and the wonderful breakfasts at Cedar House Inn, and meeting the wonderful folks who run the place. I highly recommend this experience, paired as it is with the charm of the town of Dahlonega, Georgia. I strongly suspect we'll be back. The only advice we give travelers... more

My husband and I travel with two other couples and we always stay in a bed and breakfast. Everyone agrees that the Cedar House ranks at the top!!! It is quaint, quiet and the breakfast great. The host and hostess are fantastic, and we will return next year. more

We stayed 2 nights a few weeks ago when we were in town for the 6 Gap Century bicycle ride. We were welcomed by fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a warm smile,. Mary even came out to greet us in the pouring rain upon our arrival! The breakfasts were really good. The room we stayed in was cozy and... more

A yummy homemade breakfast, friendly innkeepers, and beautiful countryside made our stay at this unique B&B relaxing and fun. We stayed in a yurt and loved the coziness and seclusion. The yurts are tucked into the woods, a short walk from the main house, offering privacy and beautiful scenery with the creature comforts of a B&B room. The inn's rooms,... more

We stayed 2 nights in the "Chickadee Room" and absolutely enjoyed it. Very friendly owners who gave a warm welcome and we immediately felt like home. Good sized rooms with everything needed to stay for a couple of nights. Great breakfast with best home-made cookies ever. The place is ideally located as a basis to explore the surroundings and make... more

I first saw this place a few months ago in the GA Chamber of Commerce tourism book. (I live in GA, but I picked one up on a whim while coming back from a trip to FL.) Later, while searching online for any vegetarian/vegan hotels/inns/B&Bs in my area, I recognized the yurts immediately from the booklet. We decided to stay... more

This place is great. Mary Beth is an amazing cook, my friend and i loved her homemade cookies and breakfast. The room was clean and roomy and the property was beautiful and well kept, plus they are helpful with directions and are located near plenty of attractions. I will be going back in three weeks with a different friend to... more

We stayed here twice (separate visits) this past month. I won 't repeat everyone's nice words--but they are right on spot. We really enjoyed our stays and even learned a few things. Very peaceful. Fred and Mary Beth are super innkeepers and the town of Dalonega is a fun place to visit. We will have to visit the wineries on... more

My wife and I recently celebrated our 11th anniversary by visiting the Cedar House Inn and Yurts. We stayed in the Hillside Yurt and it was great. This was our first yurt experience so we were not sure what to expect. We both loved it. The yurts are comfortable and very well kept. The private bath houses were very convenient... more
