An absolutely charming inn set in a hardwood forest. We were out in the middle of nowhere, yet just minutes away from historic downtown Dahlonega's restaurants and shopping. Who knew that one could find such peace and quiet so close to Atlanta? Our room (#1) was decorated in quilts and antiques. The surprise was that it opened up onto a... More

A very clean, well-maintained in in a wonderfully secluded location. The breakfast food was excellent. The owner, Paul, is very good at quickly putting guests at their ease. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The lodge is beautiful and well kept. My wife and I went there for a vacation and absolutely loved it. The breakfasts are excellent. We had room #1, which has a beautiful porch and sunroom. We enjoyed sitting there in the mornings and evenings. Paul is a gracious and welcoming innkeeper. There is a fun, well-stocked gameroom in an upstairs... More

Stopped by this weekend for a quick getaway and was greeted by the friendly inn keeper, Paul. He was very hospitable while showing us to our room and gave great selections for dinner ideas to wine vineyards. The rooms were very clean and well kept and organized. Breakfast was well rounded to include protein in the form of eggs and... More

We went up to Dahlonega for a short night away from the city! Our quiet trip was enjoyable and comfortable in this bed and breakfast. The room was quaint and clean. The lodge was close to downtown Dahlonega and the many surrounding wineries.

I have been here several times, and it is my favorite travel lodging. Quiet, secluded location with nice scenery, good breakfast, efficient innkeeper. Would definitely return. If you are looking for a great place to stay during one of the many fun events in historic Dahlonega, look no further than the Mountain Top Lodge.

This was our third visit to Mountain Top Lodge. It is the perfect getaway spot to spend some relaxation time. The innkeeper, Paul, has added some very nice upgrades and decorative touches around the lodge, including large upholstered chairs in many of the rooms and in the common areas as well. Our room featured a new and very comfortable king... More
