The freight trains run by the hotel every hour - all night long. And they don't serve grits with breakfast. For the life of me, I don't understand why Hampton's throughout the south don't serve southern food.

The room was fantastic especially after a long days drive. We were able to snuggle in to a comfy queen bed and get some rest. However, at about 3am the trains start running and their whistles wake you right up! You get the joy of hearing one at least every hour there after. This is obviously not the hotels fault... More

We were on our way out of Florida and decided to stay here for one night. We read some of the reviews and were just a bit apprehensive. However, upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Kimberly at the front desk very enthusiastically. She gave us some great ideas on where to eat for dinner. We ate at the 16... More

The place is friendly, quiet and clean, very well kept nothing broken, excellent. Bed was firm and you know you are sleeping a clean sheet. Bath towels and carpet are clean. Breakfast was excellent. Large variety and fresh. Here we had four hotels clustered together to choose from. But Hampton looked well kept from the outside. We were not disappointed.

Our recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Cordele was very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lady at the desk made a very good recommendation for dinner and it was a great recommendation, 16 Street Grill, great food, nice variety and reasonable prices. The room was clean, great lighting (I do not like low lights... More

This hotel is an older one, with outside entrance to your room, but the place is very nice, clean, with great and helpful workers. The breakfast was wonderful! They are building a new one next door to be finished in 2015!

Booked this room, while traveling to Tennessee, and needed to stop for the night; as luck would have it, they still had rooms available, and we got the ADA Room, on 1st floor. Everything in room was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, shower had plenty of grab bars for my husband's safety, too. Front Desk attendant was very... More

This hotel is old and outdated. Before arrival we were not aware that it had outside entrance rooms, exterior corridors and outdoor stairs and no elevators to up stairs rooms. It was definitely NOT up to the standards that we have come to expect from a Hampton Inn and not worth Hampton Inn room rates. Our bathroom (Handicap room#108) had... More

hotel was extremely old and needed updating. expecially bathroom and carpet in room. really the whole hotel could be updated. we asked for a first floor room, as no elevator and had king size bed with jacuzzi in room. jacuzzi very old and rust around jets. not that i would have gotten in, but kind of gross looking.
