Went to visit my son for family day at Ft. Benning. This place was ok..room was clean. Would have like to have used the pool, but was unsure if it was open in March. Would stay there again Sheila M. proud parent of a Soldier more

I highly recommend this La Quinta inn if you are visiting Columbus, GA. I asked for a quite area away from vending machines and other noise. Not only did the front desk take care of my request but they gave me the best room in the inn for light sleepers ... such as myself. The room was well appointed and... more

The only good thing I have to say about the La Quinta is that it was in a convenient location to the Interstate, Ft Benning and shopping. However, the bad outweighed the good. We had to ask for new towels. I was unable to connect to the internet or get email. The day we left some one tried to break... more

First off I must say we paid very little for our stay here. Only 39 on hotwire and we got what we paid for. Positives: --The room was clean. Negatives: --We called ahead to assure a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room. --The hotel is very noisy. There was no soundproofing whatsoever. You could hear people outside as... more

This is an older hotel that looks nice and is clean. However, the room doors open on to the parking lot. Every time someone walks by your room having a conversation, it sounds like they are in the room with you. Recommend the second floor if you stay here as you can hear every noise that is made in the... more

This was the worst experience I have ever had staying at any level of a hotel. First, PLEASE do not stay here if you are down visiting your son or daughter at Fort Benning. Do yourself a favor and book your hotel somewhere else, I would have stayed in Atlanta and drove to Fort Benning for family day if I... more

This hotel looked nice in the photos, but nothing like the photos let me tell you. The building is old and needs a lot of upgrades. The carpet in the room had stains and was dirty. The bathroom was small. I was looking forward to taking a dip in the pool with my son, which is why I booked the... more

This was great location for visiting Fort Benning for boot camp graduation. Our entire family was originally booked at the Days Inn on Victory; after seeing the place, everyone wanted to leave immediately. We got a great rate at this LaQuinta. It felt safe, the rooms were clean, and it was conveniently located to dining and shopping (there's a supermarket... more

I stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend while visiting my boyfriend at Fort Benning. The hotel is convenient to the highway, and has a Publix grocery store next door. There is an outdoor pool and free breakfast. We requested a microwave and fridge for our room, which was great. The staff was very friendly. There is a Denny's and Little Ceasers... more

This is an old motel, now operating as LaQuinta. It's apparently a popular motel for the location, as I believe it was sold out the night I was there. I found out the next morning that I was charged a premium rate for being a walk in, like $25 to $30 above the web offers and the average rate posted... more
