I have yet to meet a more hospitable set of hotel personnel. The property is historic and charming. The location is convenient to shops, sights and restaurants. My room was situated on the Mill side which is lovely with the original brick! I wish I could've stayed much longer.

Nice hotel but very odd for a marriott, I think? It's an old factory with a hotel built inside of it. The service and people and service were great. Also a nice little coffee shop in it. We had a suite, it was ok, but the room had a long shape to it and they didn't know how to stage... More

Our "Grill Mill Side of our Marriott Hotel" was initially a "Cotton Mill" in the 1800's and in 1887 (after the " War Between the States") it became the largest meal and flour Mill in the Southeast! The rooms on this side of the building are designed to the original "beams and brickwork" and this creates several of the guest... More

We ran across this hotel on our way too Florida. I prefer too say in a full service Marriott and a suite if possible. The part of the hotel we stayed in was a old mill converted in hotel rooms and suites. Clean it was, old it was, odd it was. The TV was at the other end of the... More

It was certainly a pleasure having you here with us and yes, we are a "Historic Marriott Hotel" with a history of originally being a "Red Brick Cotton Mill" in 1861! The guest rooms on the "Mill Side" of our Hotel are the original "high beam structures" with red brick walls. We do have 6 Guest Room Floors on our... More

I was in Columbus, Ga today for a business convention and we stayed at a wonderful holel, but the best thing of all is the Bar & Grill that is attached to the hotel called "HOULIHAN'S". Not only did we have a great atmosphere and delicious food at a reasonable price. We had the best service ever! Our waitress, Elana,... More

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Being part of a renovated old building (being a relative expression for a European) makes it stand out among large hotel franchises. Houlihans restaurant on location is good value for money and the litte Starbucks in the lobby tops if off. Given a choice I will surely return.

Let's just say, the historic structure is not the only part of this hotel that is stuck back in time. Although the actual hotel amenities and staff were good, another guest during my stay made my experience very uncomfortable to say the least.

Found this historic hotel to be extremely satisfying, as are all Marriotts that I have stayed at. The rooms are meticulous and comfortable. The staff is extremely courteous. The location is outstanding and close by the many sights, including the Chattahoochee Riverwalk, the historic Columbus Iron Works, Springer Opera House, and the wildly popular Uptown Columbus entertainment area. Not to... More

This hotel has been almost the only full service establishment in Columbus for years, and has been both a Hilton and a Wyndhams before becoming a Marriott. I paid more than $200 a night for a five night stay, which is rather a lot for a small city such as Columbus. The internet is painfully slow, the fitness room small... More
